They need to step it up, though, Gene.  It is surprising given the whipping they gave the Pens, but you gotta give the Hawks credit for hanging in there in Game 1 and spring-boarding from that heartbreaking win into a nice start tonight.

And while I typed that THE BRUINS SCORE!!!

I was about to type the following:

But I am with you, Gene, the Bruins are going to step up and take this one.

I no longer have a favorite. Whoever takes it deserves it. Both of these teams kick ass, and it's been a great finals so far.

I'm still drinking, nonetheless.

I had a funny flashback of Gene and I cheering for the Flyers in the hotel bar in Chicago during CanJam.

Glad the Bruins came back from their first period crawl.  Fun game.

Bruins hung in by a thread in first period, Hawks indeed dominated.  Tuukka kept them alive.

Dan "Stone Hands" Paille in OT, though.....his hustle showed tonight, good on Julien to put Seguin and his speed on that line.  Seguin's been improving a fair bit, and his passes have been real good the last few games.

Back to Boston, let's win the home games!

I'm uber tired today.  I don't know if I can stay awake for this game, and certainly don't think I can handle another OT.  Here's hoping the Bruins come out strong in the first two periods.  I think I can make it that long.

The guy who sings in Boston always reminds me of the cowardly lion singing If I Were King of the Forest.

That is funny because I was laughing in my office while listening to him sing.

I don't expect the Hawks to lay down kids...

To quote my man Gene:  "Suck it Hawks!"
