raffy Posted December 11, 2012 Report Posted December 11, 2012 On the way to the Philippines on 12/14 I will be in O'Hare from around 8am until my flight at 2pm. I don't plan on waiting the full 6 hours in the airport.....any suggestions on places I can go nearby to pass the time by? As long as it's within reasonable distance via public transportation or cab, I'm game for it. Thanks!
morphsci Posted December 11, 2012 Report Posted December 11, 2012 You can check This Place out which is located Here
tyrion Posted December 11, 2012 Report Posted December 11, 2012 Give Ray Samuels a call, maybe he can meet you for lunch. 2
Absorbine_Sr Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 Fuck Ray Samuels. I'm going to see about skipping work on Friday. I can come pick you up at O'Hare and a possible destination is here: http://www.tweet.biz. Looks like excellent breakfast and they do breakfast cocktails. Let me know if this works for you roomie. Feel free to txt or call me.
raffy Posted December 12, 2012 Author Report Posted December 12, 2012 Mike Sr FTW. Post pics, boys. Mike Sr. is a man of action! Nice. Absoutely agree! Mike Sr. is good people and a person I'm honored to call a friend
tyrion Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 I say Ray Samuels. He will take you for a nice meal.
Absorbine_Sr Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 Hey, it's also a day off work for me - double win!
Aura Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 (edited) Mike - I have a floating holiday that needs burned before the 31st. Only issue is Allison won't be working from home that day and needs the car. Welcome to come to Oak Park if you'd like. Edited December 12, 2012 by Aura

I found another nice looking place here: http://2sparrowschicago.com/
Aura Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 Marion Street Cheese Market would be the first option off the top of my head. They have massive bloody mary's. Shame I don't like them.
Absorbine_Sr Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 (edited) Looking at their site, that may not work. They don't open till 11:00 and if Raffy has a 2:00 PM flight he probably needs to be back at O'Hare around Noonish. But, we could do one of the two places I mentioned and swing by and pick you up. They open at like 9ish. Edited December 12, 2012 by Absorbine_Sr
Aura Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 Oh yeah, duh. Let me check with the boss and I'll let you know. (and by boss I mean Allison, I could care less what my real boss thinks)
Absorbine_Sr Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 We can pick you up so no issue with the car.
raffy Posted December 12, 2012 Author Report Posted December 12, 2012 I say Ray Samuels. He will take you for a nice meal. Only if he picks me up in the Lambo.
Aura Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 His ex-wife will probably be picking it up for an early weekend get-away.
raffy Posted December 12, 2012 Author Report Posted December 12, 2012 Cool, the ex-wife can take me out then 1
Wmcmanus Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 (edited) I say Ray Samuels. He will take you for a nice meal.I could actually hear that! "I take you for nice meal..." Laughter now causing a little tearing. Edited December 12, 2012 by Wmcmanus
raffy Posted December 13, 2012 Author Report Posted December 13, 2012 You either need a sugar mommy or someone needs you to be a sugar daddy. I choose to seek a sugar mommy rather than be a sugar daddy.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 13, 2012 Report Posted December 13, 2012 http://meetattheairport.com/ So the concept is, you are seated next to the person next to you for longer than some dates, might as well make it a date. You get a movie, food, drink...who knows where it will lead? Well, alright, you know exactly where it will lead, but...you get my meaning. Oh, and I just heard this on a news story on mainstream radio.
Voltron Posted December 14, 2012 Report Posted December 14, 2012 Good work guys! Have fun and have a great trip, Raffy.
