tkam Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 I upgraded the forum software tonight from version 3.3.4 to version 3.4.0. It's a pretty major upgrade with a lot of behind the scenes changes so please let me know if you see any issues. EDIT: Also I've seen some reports of users not being able to post and getting a "post empty" message. Please try clearing your browser cache or doing a hard refresh (Control + F5 on Windows).
tkam Posted November 30, 2012 Author Report Posted November 30, 2012 Oh also if you are using the dark theme "Infinite Dark" it might not work correctly for now - waiting for an updated version of it to come out.
shellylh Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 EDIT: Also I've seen some reports of users not being able to post and getting a "post empty" message. Please try clearing your browser cache or doing a hard refresh (Control + F5 on Windows). This worked for me.
The Monkey Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 Yes. A little laggy, but yes. Oh, and yay Todd!
Looser101 Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 Thanks for the update, Todd. Works great in browser. Tapalk is broken. Threads appear truncated. Going to last page is not current last page.
Dusty Chalk Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 Indeed, cannot post with Infinite Dark, apparently, only read. That actually may be a good thing in my case, I will keep Infinite Dark, and only post occasionally.EDIT: Oh, and, "GAH! They should call this theme SNOWWHITETEHBLINDNESS, I'm literally getting a headache from my pupils trying to contract. You guys use this all the time? Yeezh..."
Pars Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 (edited) test post cleared cache in FF 3.6.28 (old G5 mac), and it works Edited November 30, 2012 by Pars
n_maher Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 quotes didn't seem to work here: Everthing seems to be somewhat working on old school IE7.
raffy Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 Having a little trouble with Chrome here....whenever I log in, the site forces the mobile version. When I click on "Full Version" nothing happens. I've cleared my cache and cookies with no luck
blessingx Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 Anyone else having problems surfing some threads with current iOS TapaTalk? A lot of older/larger active threads showing most recent posts from 2009 (Ye Macce), 2011 (Mindless Consumerism), etc. Actually trying to post this from OS X Chrome (Version 23.0.1271.91) gives an empty post warning. WYSIWYG gone in it and FF.

Torpedo Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 I'm having troubles with the reply features, the emoticon legend won't open, nor other style, code options, quote isn't working well... this on Chrome and Windows XP.
Dreadhead Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 (edited) Check Check.Success with Firefox Edited November 30, 2012 by Dreadhead
Dusty Chalk Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 I can still click 'like' in "NotSnowWhiteTehBlindness" theme, so in many cases, that may be the extent of mah response.
Iron_Dreamer Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 Couldn't post in Firefox, kept getting the "post is empty" message. Cleared cache and cookies, problem remained. In Chrome now, and it's not an issue.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 One can post fine in Firefox with SnowWhiteTehBlindness theme, borked with MoarTehBlakness.Yeah, your face is empty. That's what I keep telling my computer.
Augsburger Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 Ken M. is having login problems and needs a PW reset. Please any Mods
Dusty Chalk Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 I'm not finding any "Ken M.", but then I don't have an internal spreadsheet of username->to->real names -- username?
