forbigger Posted November 7, 2012 Report Posted November 7, 2012 Folks, I remember starting this thread on the old layout. I didnt see that again. I just wanted to share my experiences on handling Kenny G for the company I work for. He is doing a gigs in our corporate event and I'm the event coordinator. Have to admit he is one of the easiest celebrity to take care. No stupid request for his riders. A very nice guy, easily approachable and very down to earth. When he finished his performance, some of our premium clients wanted to take a picture with him and he graciously agreed "whatever you want....." is his comments when I ask for his permission. I'm his fan to a certain extent though not biggest fan. Despite his music which is highly critized (elevator music, porn music, etc), he is a total gentlemen and should be the role model for every celebrity. Hats off to him !!! Barbara Streisand and J.Lo from what I hear is another story though.......perhaps some chaps here can share their experience handling celebrity or meeting celebrity.......
swt61 Posted November 7, 2012 Report Posted November 7, 2012 Sorry, but I'll need a case of Peruvian spring water @ 52 degrees, and two greased gerbils in my dressing room before I answer any questions. 1
forbigger Posted November 7, 2012 Author Report Posted November 7, 2012 No Peruvian spring water Sir, would you mind a natural water directly shipped from refugee camp at Sudan. Its equally good Sir. On the gerbils, may we replace it with komodo meat? Makes your skin smoother. Trust me
Wmcmanus Posted November 7, 2012 Report Posted November 7, 2012 LOL!!! Don't you also need a funnel with those greased gerbils, Steve?
crappyjones123 Posted November 7, 2012 Report Posted November 7, 2012 Wayne that's what the grease is for.
aerius Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 Barbara Streisand and J.Lo from what I hear is another story though.......perhaps some chaps here can share their experience handling celebrity or meeting celebrity....... We processed J.Lo and her entourage through customs back when I was working at the airport. Let's just say it was a fucking disaster and leave it at that. Don't deal with her. Ever. Unless you want a migraine where not even oxycontin makes you feel better.
