jpelg Posted May 26, 2016 Report Posted May 26, 2016 I always find the last 25% of every ride to be to toughest, no matter the actual total distance. Probly more psychological than anything *shrug*.
grawk Posted May 26, 2016 Report Posted May 26, 2016 Yah, this wasn't psychological I'm still hurting. 2
Mister X Posted May 27, 2016 Report Posted May 27, 2016 Slow and painful seems to be a trend. https://www.strava.com/activities/587104714 Even with the GPS stealing from 3 to 8mph I still managed a couple of "achievements" Anyhow. Canari beer douche jersey? http://www.ebay.com/itm/282045379307

That's likely nothing a long stem and setback seatpost can't fix.... 1

velvetx Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) Damn after seeing this thread so populated makes me really think about potentially getting back into cycling. Let the great bike search begin Edited June 27, 2016 by velvetx 2
MexicanDragon Posted June 28, 2016 Report Posted June 28, 2016 You should buy all the things. **BRENT** 2
velvetx Posted June 28, 2016 Report Posted June 28, 2016 Just a few rides I have done in the past. After death ride tour Colorado I quit cycling. I love the downhill but have always felt i might enjoy the climbing better (especially when I am in the zone). https://www.strava.com/activities/52392823?utm_content=1831823 https://www.strava.com/activities/46393994?utm_content=1831823 https://www.strava.com/activities/54202707?utm_content=1831823 I will say this the century ride I did was probably one of the most mentally taxing things I have ever done. Your mind starts to wander and you find yourself in a strange place. Though it was tough mentally it felt really good to know I completed it. 4
MexicanDragon Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 Did 17.6 in a group ride last night. Was within 20 seconds of the last time I did it. I think I need some aero wheels and Shimano 9100 to drop me a minute. **BRENT** 1
