grawk Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 I have seen some amazing cyclists in maui. Riding the hills on the road to hana like they had an engine.
Mister X Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 LMAO. From the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail Facebook page:
n_maher Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 It's windy as heck out but beggars can't be choosers. 1
boomana Posted April 5, 2015 Author Report Posted April 5, 2015 The Florida team ain't what it used to be. I'm still planning on Sebring for Labor Day weekend. Am I going to be alone this year? I think John and Mike aren't riding at all lately. Raffy, you in?
guzziguy Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 Enjoy the ride, Vicki. Hopefully the Florida team will reassemble for Sebring.
n_maher Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 Raffy has been riding like a madman, from what I can see. It's supposed to rain or snow here for the next 6 days. Eff you, spring.
Dreadhead Posted April 6, 2015 Report Posted April 6, 2015 ^ tried out Zwift today. It was interesting and pretty enjoyable.
raffy Posted April 6, 2015 Report Posted April 6, 2015 Vicki, I might be in for that depending on vacation availability. I'm using 16 vaca days for my Philippine trip this July so I'll have to see how getting time off will work for Labor Day weekend. I wanna try to do the Saturday century though - I've ridden many 50 milers this year but no centuries yet. I have an invite for Zwift but haven't really found the itch to try it. Perhaps I should, I heard it works good with the Kickr.
boomana Posted April 6, 2015 Author Report Posted April 6, 2015 Okay, Raffy and Justin are in. I just remembered Carl started riding again a couple months ago. I'll see if I can rally up the Ft. Lauderdale boys. 2
justin Posted April 6, 2015 Report Posted April 6, 2015 (edited) i'd have to dust my bike off for it, but that's ok. soccer leaves no legs for bike Edited April 6, 2015 by justin
tyrion Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 How about I ruck the metric with a 30 pound pack, assuming my back and shoulder cooperate. The idea of getting on a bike again is not appealing at all but would consider riding Sebring Labor Day, if no family stuff going on. 1
tyrion Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 Hi Mike! Hey Nate! Might be In your neighborhood this summer.
n_maher Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 I can only hope that if you are, you'll drop a line. Gene and I keep swearing that we'll get together each year and so far we might be 50/50. It'd be pretty great to see both of you at the same time.
tyrion Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 Trying to decide on Maine, Vermont or NH after July 4th weekend in NYC. I will let you know as it gets closer.
Voltron Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 California before July 4th would be pretty great too 1
Augsburger Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 I looked on Google maps and it is all downhill with a tailwind from Florida to the bay area.
tyrion Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 California before July 4th would be pretty great too Not a possibility. Leave for vacation the following Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning after MOA.
MexicanDragon Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 Not a possibility. Leave for vacation the following Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning after MOA. You make more excuses than me. **BRENT**
tyrion Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 You make more excuses than me. **BRENT** No, it's been the same excuse.
boomana Posted April 7, 2015 Author Report Posted April 7, 2015 Okay, Mike. I'm leaving it up to you to get John on board. Do you want to ride this weekend? I'm doing a longer ride on Saturday, but planning a short one on Sunday if you're interested.
