Muses 01 ... anyone heard of these?

Just been auditioning the Asus Xonar Essence One, and they sent me some of these Muses 8820 op-amps to replace the stock 5532s. My, this amp/DAC sounds pretty damn good for $599, and with the Muses ($899 is the price with these installed) it sounds very nice. Articulate, punchy, smooove! I likey.

Anyone used these parts?

Woops, my bad. They're the Muses 01 not the 8820. But I'm still interested if anyone has tried either.

$50 a pop for those opamps

Interesting, the Essence One supports simultaneous output on the headphone and speaker. That'd be nice along with the actual volume knobs. Might have to give the non Muses version a look over

I think so. The price is right; lots of features. Socketed 8-pin DIPs to roll op-amps. Seems like very good value to me.
