Is that $50 for the pair? 'cause Amazon has them for US$105 (for the pair) right now. Tempted to get a pair of the floorstanders and a pair of the bookshelves for an all-Pioneer surround system (I already have a Pioneer receiver).

I doubt they'll go that low again if demand goes up, which I'm sure it will after that Absolute Sound review. But yeah, I'll wait and see if they go any lower.

Shit even at full price that's quite a deal tho. Are they shielded? They might be good for a desktop setup (haven't checked the dimensions tho).

As an FYI the Newegg ones are the older version, not the newer 2012s.

Ah, I see that, and that would likely explain the $50 deal.....

Don't see on the Pioneer web site what the "re-engineered" process did....similar looking drivers, 6-component cross-over.....different grills for sure......

"Limit 5 per person." Damnit, I wanted to put together a 12.2 system.

Kidding. Can't really resist getting one pair at that price, even though I've had an influx of actives lately. Going to force myself to think about it.

EDIT: (squints) ...Buuuuuut...OTOH, they had a larger bookshelf back then but don't now, for some reason.

SP-BS21-LR (pair)

SP-BS22-LR

SP-BS41-LR (pair)

SP-FS51-LR (pair)

SP-FS52-LR

(subwoofers and center channels left off list; I have no idea which are priced individually and which are priced "per pair" except where noted)
