Fitz
I've been trying for a few weeks again, and I can't get a phoine answered or an email replied. That's because you don't know the secret passphrase. I've never had problems with calling (just gotta wait a couple minutes and try again sometimes), or with email (I've had essentially real-time email conversations before). Fungi
Re-bumping an old thread, but I'm really liking the K271 (mkII) as well. Sound so good. Unscrewed the elastic holder pieces so the headband is free (my head is big) and comfort is great.
Aura
Any comparisons to the K271S Fungi, or does it pretty much sound the same?
Fungi
Never heard a K271S but it should be the exact same thing, just includes velour pads by default now.
Aura
Cool beans. If I have some cash laying around next semester that I have nothing better to do with, I might buy one. Been wanting to try it for a long time.

Fungi
You'd need to hack apart the connector on the housing since it's 3pin XLR.
Cankin
That's what I think too, but I found this cable. I believe it has 3 pins on its mini XLR. Stefan AudioArt Home
Fungi
It has to have 3 pin, that's what's on all the detachable AKG cables. Is it safe to bridge the negatives on balanced stuff?
JBLoudG20
I was working on a solution, but AKG refuses to do anyhting close to customer service. I actually sold off all my AKG shit because the whole situation was such a joke.
Pars
It has to have 3 pin, that's what's on all the detachable AKG cables. Is it safe to bridge the negatives on balanced stuff? The independent negatives are required for balanced operation. I'm not sure how most amps would take it if you were to bridge them as the negative amp channels would be fighting each other... you would not be getting balanced operation though.
