justin Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 (edited) I'm having some of the teflon Stax jacks w/ the gold plated pins machined. I should have them in 4-6 weeks. I don't have the final price yet because I don't know what it will cost to have the pins assembled. But it shouldnt be more (probably will be less) than the jacks have previously been sold for and it will be excellent machining quality. Edit: August 3, 2012 All connectors from this group buy have been shipped out. If you're reading this late, I've listed more connectors on eBay. Find them at the below links 1 connector - Custom Teflon Chassis Jack for Stax Headphones from HeadAmp 2 connectors - 2 pcs - Custom Teflon Chassis Jack for Stax Headphones fr... 5 connectors - 5 pcs - Custom Teflon Chassis Jack for Stax Headphones fr... 1 connector (normal bias) - Custom Teflon Chassis Jack for Stax Headphones (Normal Bi... mrarroyo Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 Justin, could these be used to replace the stock ones in an SRD7 Pro energizer box? Quote
kevin gilmore Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 a relatively infinite supply for the future would be a good thing. Quote
The Monkey Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 What's the ballpark price on these? (I didn't buy last time around.) Quote
n_maher Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 I'm probably in for 2 to 4 depending on price. Quote
spritzer Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 Justin, could these be used to replace the stock ones in an SRD7 Pro energizer box? It could be done but will require quite a bit of work. Quote
The Monkey Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 Justin, could I use these on the KGSS DX? Quote
spritzer Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 These are not drop in replacements for either stock Stax sockets or the WPI stuff we have been using. They are fastened by a screw or collar from behind the panel but these teflon ones will need screws for mounting. On a thick panel it isn't an issue but on thin panels like the old KGSS boxes or most of the Stax stuff it needs visible screws. Quote
Looser101 Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 I'm interested in 4 pro bias and 4 normal bias with pins. Quote
Currawong Posted May 23, 2012 Report Posted May 23, 2012 I'll definitely take a few pro-bias, possibly a dozen, so I never have to worry about running out. Quote
ujamerstand Posted May 23, 2012 Report Posted May 23, 2012 I'm in for a couple more. Could always use a couple more. Quote
eggil Posted May 23, 2012 Report Posted May 23, 2012 You guys are worrying me. I'll take 4 instead, all pro Quote
mrarroyo Posted May 23, 2012 Report Posted May 23, 2012 It could be done but will require quite a bit of work. Thanks, I will forget about it. Quote
Horio Posted May 23, 2012 Report Posted May 23, 2012 I might be interested in couple as well, depending on the price. Quote
