Leonardo Drummond
Did anyone see this? https://schiit.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=0&products_id=11 Sounds promising. They seem to have been building pretty good products in the 200-400 price range and it's nice to see them getting more ambitious. Specs alone look quite good! The Monkey
Looks cool. I like this: "USB 2.0, 24/192, Async, Completely Buzzword Compliant

Aura
I'm interested in both this and the matching amp. Not a bad pricepoint, but I would definitely need to demo.
Tari
Schiit has a 15-day money back guarantee on all their products. To demo just order and return (which they're fine with.)
morphsci
15 days seems a bit short but I am definitely interested in the DAC and amp.
blessingx
Wondering if this and the new Mjolnir could possibly make a nice $1.5 system. Also really curious what's gonna end up in the signature dac. Anyone have good experiences with the Bifrost? " Yes! I love when a company like that shows a sense of humour, it's quite refreshing! I'm interested in both this and the matching amp. Not a bad pricepoint, but I would definitely need to demo. It seems a great value. The only all balanced amp I know of at a similar pricepoint is the Little Dot MKVI, which I used to own. I thought it was ok, but nothing special. The Meier Eartube trounces it on most regards! I'm quite optimistic about this and the Mjolnir. What's with the names, though? morphsci
Norse mythology. Gungnir is Odin's spear and Mjolnir is Thor's hammer. Therefore their reproduction of music is divine? Edited April 6, 2012 by morphsci

Knuckledragger
I hear one should only wire up Schiit gear with Nordost cables. Maybe a nice pair of Odins?

morphsci
I take it to mean that it will pierce your eardrums and give you a pounding headache. An equally valid, if more painful, interpretation.

spritzer
Hey, if you used our lovely letters then you'd type less. For example, though would be þó. Edit. deepak
Edit. I really don't know what the Finns are adding to their water supply to end up with that... I am thinking copious amounts of marijuana was involved in the making of that album/band. It's droning blues/guitar rock sort of stuff.
