Salt Peanuts
Just doesn't look right. Reminds me of Montana in the Chiefs uniform. Edited March 20, 2012 by Salt Peanuts
Wmcmanus
It will be interesting to see if they trade Tebow or keep him to serve as chaplain.
emelius
Just doesn't look right. Reminds me of Montana in the Chiefs uniform. Or Peyton's idol, Johnny Unitas, in a Charger's uniform...

jvlgato
Wow. Have to admit, I didn't see this coming when this all started. But it really makes a lot of sense. Nice move for them, assuming his neck is ok. Edited March 20, 2012 by jvlgato
grawk
I bet his idol will become John Elway soon.
jvlgato
Yeah, exactly. "I've always had great respect for what Mr. Elway accomplished for the Denver Broncos organization as a quarterback and for what he is doing for them as GM. His achievements are beyond reproach. I look forward to building on what he has done here and look forward to great success on what is already an excellent team." 'Oh yeah, and you can say goodbye to that other quarterback.' ecclesand
YES!!! I haven't been this stoked about the Donkos since Elway was still the QB. Just can't believe we got him. The gap between the end of hockey and the start of football season is going to seem like an eternity!

The Monkey
"Nah, we don't need someone like Manning--we're all set. What's that you say? TEBOW?! WE'LL TAKE HIM!!!" --The New York Jets
Pars
Holy shit! I thought you were joking... guess not http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/breaking/chi-report-jets-acquire-tim-tebow-from-broncos-20120321,0,4688391.story
raffy
wow, just a 4th and a 6th round pick for Tebow (and the Jets get a 7th rounder too)....I would have kept him if I were the Broncos, he's a fucking jersey and ticket money maker. The Monkey
...and I don't hate Tebow. I actually like him. He's just exactly the last person the Jets need right now. Unless he's going to play DE.
deepak
This is awesome news. I did not want Tebow Mania coming to New England after hearing Belechik and McDaniels are Tebow lovers. Might have been fun to see him used as a half back, full back, etc in that wacky offense, but in the end... go Jets, go! ...and I don't hate Tebow. I actually like him. He's just exactly the last person the Jets need right now. Unless he's going to play DE. Tebow can do anything, put him on the offensive line! 6.8 million over 3 years.... holy crap
skullguise
I'm glad he's not on New England either. Although he COULD have helped with the running game, just not as QB..... I was nearly ready for the "Patiots go with the Wildcat" option.....
n_maher
Bwaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha @ The Jets. 1. Instant locker room termoil for Sanchez. 2. Instant media frenzy annoying most other players. 3. Now they have two QBs that can't throw, WIN! Anyone care to set the over/under on the number of Teebow signs at the Jets' home opener??? Dinny, will you carry one?
The Monkey
Deal has hit a snag due to Tebow's contract (as in, he has one?), so this is not yet my problem.
