  1. Been getting these lately: Dear Customer, Thank you for ordering from Mouser Electronics. Unfortunately, we are unable to obtain an authorization for your purchase from your credit card company. The most common reasons for unauthorized purchases are an invalid credit card number, an expired credit card date, or purchase has been declined as it exceeds the credit limit. Please contact us 852-37564755 to verify your credit card information or to provide an alternative payment method (such as another credit card or to let me know if you’d like to wire the funds in advance) so that we may continue processing your order. You may contact us by replying to this email or by calling me on the phone number below. If we do not receive a resolution within 3 business days we will, unfortunately, have to cancel your purchase. We look forward to your response, and thank you again for ordering from Mouser Electronics, Inc. Thank you for your time, patience, and prompt attention in this matter. 3. I'm impressed with your post count today ? If I want more impressed I'll visit your profile ?
  4. Made up 4 split 15V units, all within .001V, from unmatched resistors, I’m impressed.
  5. HF have all the night and day reviews you could ever want. Yippee!
  6. A Pass first watt could be worth investigating.
  7. Bauhaus’s “In the Flat Field” still remains one of my favourite albums, followed by closely “Mask”.
  8. Or just put the tubes/trimmers on the underside... much easier than all the other components.
  9. Sure, but pots don’t come anywhere near the channel matching accuracy of a Dact stepper (+/- 0.05%dB). In regards to mechanical life, an RK50 is rated 15,000 cycles and a Dact is 25,000 cycles, 50,000 is extraordinarily good . To the contrary I’ve never had any issue with the dozens of Dacts I’ve used over the years, in use I do dislike the coarse 24 steps, but have become accustomed.
  10. In my experience it’s the designated output current and thermal capabilities that makes the differences.
  11. But.. but.. everybody knows you’ve been tweaking your amps for the 007s and sucky with 009s
  12. Yep, always fuse the primary that goes without saying.
  13. What is the unloaded voltages of the transformer secondaries, did you check?
  14. or a low rated fuse/s over the secondaries...
  15. Thanks guys for looking over the layout, I’ll have a look at the top and bottom vent pattern to increase airflow, I’m stuck with these amp boards as I’ve already part populated but as I’ve placed a milled 2.5mm cavity hole under each C2M1000170D on the heatsink mounting shouldn’t be an issue. Birgir the transformer is encapsulated, I’m hoping to get away with that position, do you think there’d still be an issue? ...and my transformer based on previous discussions is 153VA based on the above said specs.
  16. I’ve managed to get my enclosures finalised, I’m be using existing Heatsink profile sourced from China. I’m nearly at a stage to send off the order and have been checking the FPE files over and over for errors, I always get nervous at this stage... I’ll be mounting the boards directly onto the heatsink, the only problem with this is the C2M1000170Ds end up being around 10mm ht with the 4180g pad and screw head, so under each C2M1000170Ds I’ll be drilling a 2.5 mm cavity for a bit more room.
  17. it’s not exactly a steal $3500 and only single ended, it does however look clean and well made.
  18. Nothing like a facelift! I did liked the red but the silver panels are schmick.
