  1. Well, HC has no such draconian restriction, which unfortunately just serves to make it more beneficial to post the good stuff on HF.
  2. Only time I've ever been moderated on HF was when I posted a link over to here. That warranted a personal letter from Jude, and he was none too pleased.
  3. Ladies and Gentlemen... Dr. Wood!
  4. From what I've heard, she sounds a lot like MIA. I also don't have the guilt of supporting a terrorist when listening to Santogold, so that's a big plus.
  5. Right under the wire, Mike. Congrats!
  6. I'll mug a stranger today in your honor. Happy Birthday you lush.

    No ASIMO! Noooooo!
  8. You bought a CD of various sine waves and you're using the amp to drive a tattoo gun?

    CanJam 2009

Ouch, that's my anniversary. How can I spin this as a present?
  10. Happy Birthday, Chris!
  11. FIFM:D
  12. New catalytic converter, new brake boosters, new pads and shoes, new Lifters, new Timing belt, new water pump, new AC fan, and new tires for a car I've only owned for 5000 miles... No food in '09.
  13. Baby Elephant: His soft, smooth, creamy, pillowy, cushiony earpads get him all stiff and hard.
  14. I'm surprised his daughter hasn't ridden your ass about it. Also, be it here resolved: no kitchens in '09.
  15. Flavor of the month or not, the westones are really comfy. If sound quality isn't a high priority, the um1 are a great set. I too am a bassist, and I loved my um1 before I left them on a plane and cheaped out on their replacement. I got mine used for $100 and that's pretty common. The um2 sound worlds better, and I haven't heard a production um3 to compare.
  16. This serves both of us, in fact, since I have a "no preassembled audio in '09" pledge. I'm desperately shopping for speakers in the next two days
  17. Just ship it to me, Mike, and I'll randomly ship it to you throughout the year. Think of the excitement of not even knowing when your gear will come!
  18. It might not be up your alley, Thrice, but Zelda is phenomenal. I'm playing through Call Of Duty: World At War and it's pretty enjoyable as well. I'd also recommend "No More Heroes" and "Okami". Fun games, all. I personally enjoy all the Madden titles on Wii, as I find the gesture system engrossing. I'm not always in the maority on this, though. If you find one used, it's about $15, so well worth trying for yourself.
  19. My first car was '76 pacer. Be your Dad, Mike. Don't be my Mom.
  20. I remember when my dad also bought me a '67 Camaro then my mom found out.
  21. I think we might have found the small car for your son, though, Mike. Atom.
  22. I can't imagine the atom is terribly good in the snow...
