Well hey, gentlemen, I'll throw this out there once more before I ask over there: any of you who want a pair of SR-404LE real sheep leather earpads should contact me, as I have two spots left on my mini group buy. These should fit any lambda frame headphone from the SR-Lambda on, and they're the nicest-feeling Lambda pads extant. They're $65 per pair (plus about $5 US shipping), which I'll front, and I'll send them out to you myself. Get ahold of me if you're interested.

If it makes any of you feel any better, this has at least delayed my excitement until they can get this squared away. I'm very patient about things like this, but knowing me I would get something I didn't love and just accept it rather than making waves. With that in mind, it seems I'd be better off to give it 6 mo. to a year for them to really lock this process in.

I still do, and I made money doing it too, but I'm in the "rock band feels wrong" camp as well. No principled arguments, but the timing doesn't work for me. Something about it feels strange. Haven't played the drums, though, so maybe that'd fly. In any case, I just want to be the Beatles. My 8 year old sister kicks my ass at guitar hero, and I'm cool with that.

So it's good for ten treatments, Ari, but do keep in mind the treatments are permanent, and it knows when you've used it on a particular disc before, so don't try doubling up (down?) on that New Kids On The Block CD for added clarity.

Good news, everyone: SR-404LE pads are in stock now, and Craig can get them for us. They're $85 per pair for one, but $65 per pair for 4. I'm not sure if the scale becomes more beneficial after that point. I'm getting a pair, and I'd be happy to broker three additional pairs for any interested parties. More than that is more than I'd like to contend with. So first three takers interested in real sheep leather lambda pads at $65 + 5-10 for shipping should PM me -- sooner the better.

SRD7-mk2 and Lambda Sigs from Foo_Me (picture stolen from Colin) They sound nice -- nicer than my SR Lambda. That's tough to do, in my book.
