True as that may be, I'm always somewhat surprised when a show I'm enjoying gets cancelled.

It appears to be true:

Vicki, how does this album sound? I have a dig. copy of it, obtained less than ethically, and it is absolutely terrible. Muffled dynamics, flabby bass, yuck. It's so bad that I held off on buying the real deal, for fear that it would be basically the same.

I'd also be surprised if B&W made them. I'm guessing they're putting their name on an OEM. In any case, the mere inclusion of noise cancelling means, to me, that these shouldn't be treated as headphones in their own right, but as branded companion pieces to their speakers for well-heeled connoisseurs to wear while not in their mahogany libraries. Not to be overly stereotypical.
