If anyone made that statement about the Ed. 8s, I would have assumed it to be Dinan. His gushing over the ed. 8 was something of a disappointment to me, truth be told.

No color, including black, is really less stealthy than any other, so I'd not worry about that. MWB is a rich looking color, though -- I'm glad I went with it. Even without colors, it's easy to tell the sides apart by feel. I put mine on in the dark all the time, and have no issue. Just like how you feel for the rod on a pair of Grados, you feel for the cable entries on JH13s.

Amen to that, Nate. Her vocals routinely clip out very harshly, and the dynamics in general are really not up to par. Every time I'm anticipating some glorious crescendo my hopes are dashed by clipping instead. The music, however, has really gotten a hold of me as of late.
