I love my comcast. I'm internet only, of course, but still. I get speeds I'm happy with, they don't gouge me (compared to my other options), and it has not gone down once in the 18 months I've been using it. I moved over 1 terrabyte of data in the month of June, with nary a peep from them.
I have a very similar set, and have delightedly used it for going on 6 years. Protect that bottom left pan, man. My wife forgot she was steaming some green beans in it one time and completely ruined it. I've had a devil of a time finding a pan so versatile again.
They'll treat you well.
New LCD soundsystem. Just as good, if not better than, the previous 2. And Sound Of Silver is one of my all time favorites. I was sad to hear that James is hanging up his LCD hat after this one.
THAT is how you structure a first post, sir.
Also, holy crap do I ever want an M-22 now. I'll take 30 Class A watts over 150 AB watts any day. No K Horns here, but plenty of horns nonetheless. I effing love that amp, Gene -- completely beautiful.
I bought it, and might well prefer the LNS as well. Nonetheless, I dearly love your old NB. And deepak, if you see good normal bias sets come up for around $200, let us all know.
It's good. So is the dynalo. So is the M^3. I don't think there's a "best", necessarily, so get one of the three and use it until you get the other two (as you and I know you eventually will).
That's true, but plenty of other things could have broken it as well. With something so irreplaceable as a NB lambda, I'd prefer to know rather than guess, especially for $160.
Those are a bit of a mess. The mylar alone is enough to scare me off, but one has to ask oneself -- how did the original Arc assembly get busted? These things are old, and if they were mistreated at any time in the past, you want to know how much and by whom. It's not like there are warehouses full of spare parts for old Staxen - even owners of brand new sets have a hell of a time getting Stax to ship them replacement anythings.
All that adds up to a big stay away. I think a decent pair in much better condition would demand more cash, but that's largely because I know my pair is worth much more than any other $160 phone on the planet.
