Cleavage is appreciated, Dusty, and not often selected for. Kudos to you. And JP, you're dead right regarding Pale Ale and beers I often buy myself. I made the "too many pale ales" mistake last year, and got burned out quick.

They're good for sending you a welcome PM you clearly didn't spend the time to read. How about this, you invest no time in this site, and we invest nothing back in you. Sound good?

I think you don't want to cough up retail price because, in your heart of hearts, you know they're a bad deal. Perhaps you'd prefer to buy decent headphones instead?

I've got all new joints this year. The best of Denver.

I thought you'd jump on that "three way with George Cardas and a measuring tape" line. Just lobbed it nice and slow down the middle, and all.

You're straining my note-taking capacity, Dusty A number of those are wholly foreign to me, so I'll have to map myself a route.

Will do, Mike. I swung by Cigar City last year, and the joint was abandoned. Plan on doing it again, fo sho.

Here in Colorado, we are somewhat spoilt for festivals. Between RMAF and GABF, most of the esoteric items in the world I would truly want access to are annually dropped on my doorstep for my consumption. So I'm going to attempt to give back, in an ever-so-slight kind of way. Take a look at this list here and tell me if there's anything you've always wanted to try, or wanted someone else to try and confirm your feelings, and I'll find it and drink it for you, with notes. My tastes are broad, and I've picked up a respectable amount of knowledge in a few years of attendance, so hopefully I can shed some light on something for you. Of course, if you simply have a recommendation, I'll happily take those too. There's more beer than I can drink, even one ounce at a time, so I like to plan my trip ahead of time. Cheers!

Do you use the transport and the digital in?

I had a long, exhausting, satisfying three-way date with George Cardas and a measuring tape. As a result, my speakers are now aligned in a golden trapagon, and sound sweet. What did you do, Dr. Wood?

Why would I have been foolish enough to expect any other kind of "help"?

Having to sit up while computing has certainly become tiresome.

I'm having a hard time not buying a mac mini lately. I live in one room, and have two Macs already, but I keep finding reasons why I need it. Someone help.

It was killing me because it hurt, mostly, and because my wife was up my ass about going to the dentist, which is an activity that coincides with almost every dislike I have about western society (i.e. waiting, calling people, paying for things I don't want, being looked down upon). Thankfully, unlike a Korean grad student, this will not actually end your life.

I had an awesome dream last night. I got one wish, and I wished to be the world's greatest tennis player. However, I felt it necessary to keep my identity a secret, so I played every round in a wolfman mask from a child's halloween costume, under the name of Wolfman. Every single person on earth was pissed off that the greatest tennis player in the world played dressed as wolfman.

Had two root canals recently, on large molars with decayed fillings. Got the fillings when I was a kid, and either was not told (unlikely) or did not remember (very likely) that they need a refresh every decade, or they crumble and bits of chip get stuck under them slowly killing you. The pain beforehand was very, very unpleasant. So much so that the root canal itself and the minor pain afterward was downright pleasant. I look back on it as an enjoyable experience, much like washing a car or cleaning your garage. Hopefully will be able to as well.

I agree with Vicki vis a vis Jerry's standards. I'm confident that this will be a perfect product when it's released, though I'm sure the stress of finding a new project lead and reworking the entire foundations of the product under a deadline can't be good for anyone involved. He'll probably draw flack about the delays, as he should, but I trust he's drawn enough flack on the road in his life not to let a couple of geeks push him to release anything remotely sub standard. I just hope he has a working prototype of the new design at RMAF.

it's a good point. An EOS 5d at 2.8 shouldn't have to use a bonkers ISO for that shot. Lots of processing? -

How about a tilt shift, and take their picture lying on the ground? -
First watt, Jim. It's all about that first watt.

I might have to call Craig about those cone feet. I have my cicadas on a concrete floor at the moment, and the spikes seem a trifle unnecessary.

Those drivers look perfect. Good snag, sir.

I love this idea. I've long felt that my reluctance to take pictures of strangers was holding my photography back. Here's a fun way to break in. Anyone else interested?
