I bought an HC-approved car three years ago (MKVI GTI) and have not regretted it for a moment. Just sprung for an HC-approved TV (55" C6) and absolutely love it. I know the B6 is far more popular, but I dig the curve and it suits my space well. Thanks for the great advice again, hive mind. We are all terribly flawed as individuals, but as a group we are perfect. Also, side note, I live in Virginia again.

HQplayer just put out an update, 3.15. It adds a new non-apodizing filter, poly-sinc-XTR, said to be a close approximation of the filter implemented in the Chord DAVE. It takes some horsepower to run it properly. ROON has also announced some HQPlayer-like upsampling options built into their newest version, which should be coming out shortly. I am positively chuffed to bits.
