  1. Another wrote for the normal bias Lambda + T1 but with a good speaker amp an adapter isn't bad either.
  2. Happy Birthday Pete!
  3. Sigma 404 is probably a bit different and also if you are driving it with a Blue Hawaii that makes a difference as well

To be honest, I thought the series was mediocre. But this last episode was really good.
  5. Nice write-up, it would be interesting how an O2 would do on lesser amps.
  6. Happy birthday!
  7. Happy Birthday Todd!
  8. Happy birthday!
  9. The answers can be found in the Stax thread. Yes, there are differences and it does matter what amplifier is used.
  10. Lambda Pro + SRD-7 MK2 wait...what's that stupid "Signature" writing on the dark brown housing? I've been scammed, damn... ... Oh what the hell, the Lambda Sig rocks
  11. I heard October for the Gamma-2
  12. Happy Birthday!
  13. A few month ago, a fully repaired (brand new) HE60 was sold on head-fi for 1650$ and now with the HD800 being available, it should worth less than that.
  14. Forgot to mention, there is an SRM-T2 in my country, which might be for sale in the future. About the price, I only know that it's 'not cheap'
  15. Ok, will try tomorrow It looks much better in person, too. The Lambdas look very cheap in comparison. But I don't feel heartbroken for desperately wanting one, good job that I only have a T1S, because the SR-Lambda seems to be the optimal partner for it
  16. Yes, the condition was not tip-top but the sound quality was. When I rotated the earpads, the outside ring with the cable always wanted to move so I had to hold it with the other hand, is that normal?
  17. I don't know much about CD players, but I compared it to a Sony 555 SACD player today. (using the input selector on the SRM-T1S with SR-007 MK1 and the same ICs) The Pico DAC held on really well while costing a fraction of the price and being much easier to use. The sound stage was a bit bigger and the sound was a bit smoother on the SACD player overall but the difference was quite small, both sounded very good. Pico will definitely stay for a while I guess
  18. Omega II Mk1 = OMG, great phone. With the 313 it sounded dry and lifeless but with the T1S it was very good(a surprise), it is leaps and bonds ahead of any Lambda in many areas, and I didn't find it sounding dark. I wouldn't say it easily worth the hefty extra cost though, at least not with a mediocre amp. And the fit was quite fiddly for me, I had to re-adjust it many times, maybe the Mk2 with the thicker pads would suit me better.
  19. You like the relaxed, dark and lifeless kinda sound? OII. Or you prefer a bit of harshness added? HD800. It's that simple BTW, can't wait to hear the OII tomorrow
  20. Those stats seem to be hungry, you'll need to feed them with BHSE soon
  21. I will audition the O2 Mk1 in two days' time, at last. Trouble is, the guy who borrowed it from his friend only has a 313 which I guess is quite a bad match. Should I carry my T1S to him, does it worth the hassle? Because I have to admit that while it is truly great with the borrowed SR-Lambda (which will have to be returned today :'(), it is quite underwhelming with my other two phones (maybe my ESP950 is faulty, I don't know but the NB Lambda simply sounds much better on the T1S, and this is not just my opinion...) Also, is there a unofficial 'guide' to achieve the optimal fit without wasting too much time? Thanks
  22. Have a great one Birgir!
  23. Happy birthday Marshall!
  24. Yep, and it seems pretty stable as well.
  25. Have a great one!
