Happy birthday to a real mensch! Have a great one Todd. Cheers!

I watched with subtitles and enjoyed it a lot overall. I happened on an episode with the dubbed dialog and it seemed lame. I also enjoyed most of Buster Scruggs, including the namesake opener. I love the Coens, so it was a likely win.

Dubbed or subtitles?

That was definitely the slickest Neko show I've seen. Her man friend / baby daddy / guitar tech Jeff brought out or took away a guitar every song. Big wall of sound emphasizing the vocals and harmonies, with up to five guitars playing at once. It was a solid retrospective of her music and she loves the Bay Area so she and the band were ramen-drunk and loosey-goosey in her words. My favorite line was that school night rock is the dirtiest rock in town. She thanked is for being bad with her. It seemed pre-arranged, but they did five songs for an encore. Best part of the night, however, was that they banned photography and recording and told people to keep their phones down to respect their neighbors and to enjoy the show in real time. People actually respected it throughout, except the two people in front of me couldn't help themselves in the encore and took some shots. I hope @en480c4 is going to see her next month...

Did you have impure thoughts about a minor? (When you were a minor?)

I was into F Troop as a syndicated rerun. I just learned from the Howard Stern show today that Melody Patterson lied that she was 18 when she got the part as Wrangler Jane. She was only 15 when she started as Ken Berry's love interest.

Unexpectedly bummed out by the unexpected death of Paul Sherwen, professional cyclist and, more importantly to me, cycling commentator. Sad that I won't see him beside long time partner Phil Liggett any more because they have commentated all of the Tours de France I have followed starting in the late 80s. He competed in 7 and commentated in 33. Commentate in peace, Mr Sherwen. https://www.npr.org/2018/12/03/672806336/paul-sherwen-renowned-cycling-commentator-dies-at-62

Went from AT&T DSL to Sonic fiber in SF. The 5G wifi from Sonic was about 90-100mbps. This is the ethernet connection speed. Seems better.

I went the HC way, of course.

What is the benefit of more storage on the Apple TV 4K--more apps? Storage of media? Does 32gb or 64gb make more sense? It's only $20 bucks but I'm not even sure what it is for...

It was pretty good and hotter than I expected for 93 proof (in a good way). I was not in the environment or mind set to really judge it so I was curious if our resident experts had tried it. And Mikey is a Sherry cask hound so I thought he might have tried it or been interested.

Nobody's gone down this rabbit hole?

Anybody try this stuff? Had a wee dram last night but I was stuffed to the gills and eating desserts.
