Sorry, buddy, I thought that got answered somewhere already. Todd sent one for the meet, and I unfortunately do not get to keep it forever and ever like I want to. It is actually right in front of me in a big box in my office. I am tempted to set it up today for the hell of it, but I will probably wait because I get to play with it for a few days after the meet.
No, active speakers would be welcome. Should I bring M-audio BX5a? More crap to tote, but I am thinking that I will just bring the TTVJ 307A instead of the Beta. Bad idea?
Sad news, indeed. He was awesome, even if a little wilted in the last comedy special I saw (only part of).
R.I.P.
Good of you to remember, Boomy. I forgot too!
Oh yeah, shit, piss, fuck, cunt, cocksucker, motherfucker, and tits!
I was about to post only the HB ED part when he decided to act condescending and dickish unnecessarily. That's all. If nobody else thinks it is dickish, then my bad.
Electrostatic amps are balanced by nature, but this one does not have balanced XLR input or a switch to go from RCA to XLR. Justin also said it has one single GoldPoint volume pot, so it is not duel stepped attenuators like normal. He also said it was originally made and sold in 2004 to somebody in so cal. That is the info available to you.
His ad on Agon also mentions that it has the "upgrading antenuator", which I take to mean he has steppers. Maybe he doesn't realize that the BGs are an upgrade also? Or maybe it is not the same guy.
