Nice choice Ric! Vinyl obsession commence!

The 1512 Barbershop has a fresh grass/grain and fruity nose like other white whiskies and rhum agricoles, but there are no sour notes like I get from some unaged spirits. The rye bite is there and the flavor of rye grain is dominant. It has some pepper tones and a sweet alcohol burn. Very nice all around and I'm very happy I listened to Amy at Cask.

Woosh, that's a load of Stagg! Good luck, but if anyone can do it, you are the man, Mikey! As for me:
-
Très belle!

Great choice indeed, Jim I hope it cooled you off a bit. Very nice pour there, Mikey. Those Four Roses bottlings are intriguing.

Made in a barbershop by a real barber who uses a straight razor even! Very dangerous.

I picked up a bottle of unaged rye whiskey made in SF today, and plan to taste a bit later. Here is a stock photo: I just made another Hotel Georgia with less orange flower water than my first attempt (still not sure how many drops) and with about half an egg white. Both are improvements.

Great list Marc! If you want more name suggestions, here are a couple. The Rhum Old Fashioned could get a fencing twist as the Rhum Riposte, Riposte de Rhum, or Rhum Contre-Riposte I'm not sure how appealing it is, but Panther Piss Sazerac has a certain ring to it given your choice of rye.

Very pretty Mantini Shelly! Hotel Georgia Cocktail 2oz Old Raj gin 1oz Small Hand Foods Orgeat Syrup .5oz lemon juice 10 drops orange flower water 1 egg white orange twist for garnish Dry shake liquid ingredients for 10-15 seconds, then shake with ice for another 10-15 seconds. Double strain into chilled cocktail glass. Add twist and consume. Very tasty even though I overdid the orange flower water without a dropper. Kind of like an Orangecicle. In a good way. Forgot the twist in the first pic.

Excellent Mike! This thing is amazing so far.

x2! Yay Shelly!

They have the base model, the upgraded i5 with 4gb/128gb and the loaded i7 with 4gb/256gb for sale in the store. The base model for both 11" and 13' were the only ones on the table I believe. I cannot imagine the i7 chewing up the battery a whole lot faster for basic surfing/email/pics/etc. but what do I know?

Happy birthday youngster! I guess it is a good sign that I never assumed you were so young. Have a safe and sane and age appropriate birthday celebration. In other words, I hope you can find a fake ID or get an RA to buy you some booze! Cheers

Posting from the Apple Store on my new 11" i7 MBA. Hawtness indeed. The 13" seemed big and with the larger hard drive the processor difference was only $150 so I went with i7. I had intended to get the loaded 13" i5, but I am stoked with this little beast.

That's what I am thinking. The size difference doesn't seem to be enough to fret about.

Congrat Jeff. What config?

I haven't tried, but they sent an email suggesting that it was a bad idea to use Lion: Amarra & Lion OS 10.7 Like a lot of Mac users, everyone here on the Amarra team is excited about the release of Mac OS 10.7 “Lion". Apple just released OSX Lion today and you may be wondering how Lion will affect you as an Amarra user. Should I upgrade? At this time, we recommend that you DO NOT upgrade your current operating system to Lion. While this new version of OSX will offer most Mac users some interesting new functionality, it will also come with many more background functions turned on or enabled (i.e Security, Auto Save, iOS look/feel, etc.). While this may be good for general users, it is not good from a Music Server perspective. We want your Amarra Computer Music Player and your Mac focusing on playing back your music, not a few hundred other things going on... NOTE: Amarra, MINI and Junior have been tested on developer versions of Lion and found to perform as expected. That said, it is always best to wait awhile before upgrading to a brand new operating system as there may be issues in the official release with devices such as DACs and in other areas of the OS. Generally, unknown issues with a new OS get discovered and addressed quickly. If you do upgrade your current Mac OS to Lion, a few undesirable things could happen: 1) Any OS optimizations you have perfomed will be overwritten/undone. 2) Your Amarra product may sound worse. 3) If you change your OS and need Amarra technical support for Lion, we may have to charge you for a support session. So what should you do? Just keep using Amarra, MINI or Junior with your current Mac OS X version. This will help ensure your music playback continues working without disruption or degradation. The last thing we want is for your Amarra Computer Music Player not to work properly when you need it to. If you must upgrade to Lion, you can set up a separate Snow Leopard partition on your Mac to continue running Amarra. You can learn more about setting up a partition at this article by Apple: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4722 We really appreciate your business. Check www.amarraaudio.com for more information and updates about Amarra Computer Music Player and Lion OS compatibility.

I have been watching although I missed a couple of stages last week and then caught up from the DVR. Today is going to be intense so turn off the live reports and watch it tonight! Yell for Cadel! Or a Schleck or anyone else other than Cuntador.

Negroni due.

Sorry Salty, but you are doing good work and outbursts seem to be inevitable in your field. My niece and her fiance both do similar work and have various scars and stories. Heal well and straight.

Negroni.

I was going to go back to the office today (until I take my dad to the Giants game) but man I want to go straight to the Apple Store. I will have to build to order, probably, but what the heck I want to see these things.
