Cocchi or Kina 3/4 oz. creme de cacao 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice Ice cubes Tools: shaker, strainer Garnish: lemon twist Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake well for 10 seconds and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish. Nice!

Congrat Shelly and Tim! So, I bought 6 more bottles, 2 more of the new Grand Cru (limited to 2 on the pre-order) and 2 each of the new Rittenhouse Rye and Four Roses. Yummy. Imbibe Magazine provided the recipe for tonight's cocktail: The Muzzleflash 1.5oz bourbon .5oz Cocchi Americano .5oz lemon juice .5oz grapefruit juice .25 cinnamon syrup 2 large dashes Islay whisky 1 dash angostura bitters orange peel garnish Shake and double strain, and imbibe.

A good friend of mine had an aneurism on her 39th birthday, almost 10 years ago. She required surgery and that probably did a fair amount of the brain damage she suffered. She also has partial paralysis on her left side and significant atrophy issues. She has never recovered her mental capacity, and is very limited in terms of speech and comprehension, etc. Her amazing husband has stuck with her the whole time, but it is hard as a friend because she is not local and it is hit or miss whether she can really communicate at all.
