Upcycled redwood siding from the former house on the lot where my brother's new house is. This is the tack room in my sister in law's new barn. It's looking very sweet for a rustic utilitarian space. Still need to finish the ceiling and trim around the doors and window. And then there's another tack room in the garage, aka the tacky room.

I stupidly lost my paper ticket to see him on that tour and ended up seeing AC/DC the same night. That was fun and all, but my two buddies who saw JB constantly rubbed it in that it was the most amazing concert they ever saw, Yada Yada Yada. I finally saw JB live with JP# in Oakland and it was great even though not the same as 1980 would have been. We got very high and required large burgers in a sketchy neighborhood to sober up enough to drive home. Rock in Peace JB

I made standing rib roast for dinner last night and Claire made the Yorkshire pudding and the Paris-Brest cake, both of which were awesome.

I'm doing OK but I'm ready for 2022 to end. I spent the day doing some woodworking with Steve and couldn't bring myself to clear the drains in the back yard before the next big rain we're supposed to get. Did you spend most of your day getting your fingers shredded by a furry land piranha?
