At Game 1 of the NLCS with my 90 year old dad who didn't think he would ever go to another game. Losing right now but still thrilled to be here with him.
I'm just glad that your MBP crap out on RISE night. Don't turn it off the day of the gig or even close it, so you don't have to live through the fear of re-starting when you arrive. Good luck Knucks.
^Very strange first post, but welcome to HC. Read and abide by your welcome PM and all will be well.

Met at work between college/law school, and went on our first date after about a year. We went night clubbing and as I was dropping her off at about 4am I asked if she wanted to go to a family party my brother was throwing that same day. Oddly, she said yes and met my entire family -- including at least one sister and one sister-in-law who were pregnant at the time -- just hours later. We've been together for the 26 years and two months since that date.
Are you Chuck Norris?
I worked in the morning, went to Stanford for a tour with my daughter, and sweated out the last couple of innings during the admissions presentation with only contraband text updates to inform me of progress in the Giants game. Fucking amazing the Giants came back from 0-2 at home to sweep 3 from the Reds away. Now I get to see some post-season ball after all! GO GIANTS!
On Friday, I saw Branford Marsalis play solo for the first time ever supposedly. It was at Grace Cathedral in SF and he alternated between tenor, alto and soprano sax almost every song, and ranged from standards to classical to complete freeform. Very cool, and one of the best uses of the 7-second delay front to back in the church that I have heard.
That was last week. 80,000 people showed up for the free concert. Set some Guinness book record for most people simultaneously doing the stupidest dance. Too bad I missed it.
I wondered where you'd been hiding. Glad you're feeling better.
Gangnam Update: The outdoor K-Pop concert the hotel warned about has just started and I feel like I am there. It's very close and very loud. I can't go to sleep for a few hours anyway, so no biggie. I wonder if Psy will make an appearance?
I started out yesterday, but it is tomorrow here so I am not sure i can post in this thread. i flew to Seoul, missed the Giants loss in the first NLDS game, got an amazing suite at the Park Hyatt, haven't met ScarJo yet, but it is just about Hibiki Time!
Here's my favorite drawer so far:
Good luck, Knucks. You'll rock the house or chill the lounge or whatever you're supposed to do with great style and there will be much rejoicing.
Great day, Ric. Good for you.
