  1. The 105 supposedly can serve as prepro and has digital input but I don't think the 103 has those features. I could not get the hdmi output from my cable box to work through my 105 so I bought an av receiver anyway. I did not try putting a separate audio source through it though.
  2. Alice Cooper should have been a midget.
  3. Oops, the big day slipped our notice, but hope you had a great time Adrian! Cheers!
  4. I have owned two different pairs of Omega 2s but at different times. I didn't like the first pair much so I sold it, but the second pair is the black version and I like them quite a bit. It may be the blackness of the cans or it just may be the BHse and DIY T2 amps that I have now, which are the only amps I have ever heard that make the O2s worth having.
  5. That's fucked up, Greg. Sorry for the hassle but glad you got it back.
  6. Good stuff Chris, Mike and Nate. Sucky news Bryan. Sorry about the spasms, Haj. Hope you can clear that up. I went to the hand doctor today and confirmed that I am going to go forward with surgery on my wrist to address the arthritis and such that resulted from my prior wrist injury and surgery 24 years ago. I also learned that the numbness in my thumb and forefinger on the same hand are almost certainly due to carpal tunnel syndrome, so that I can throw in surgery on the carpal tunnel at the same time! Yay! Oh well, it will be a pain and I will have a cast for 6 weeks, a brace for another month or so, and some fun PT, but hopefully I won't have pain and weakness in my right wrist and hand.
  7. That's fantastic, Steve! I was pretty sure you would love that amp with the K1Ks.
  8. We went to the gala opening of the SFJazz Center last night and saw an incredible lineup of jazz legends and current stars. McCoy Tyner, Bobby Hutcherson, Chick Corea, John Handy, Mary Stallings, Joshua Redman, Esperanza Spalding, Bill Frissell, Eric Harland, Brad Meldau, Pete Escovedo, Avishai Cohen, Joe Lovano, Stefan Harris, SFJazz Collective, etc etc etc. I wanted to take a picture of the program so you can see it all in print, but you can actually listen to the whole concert that was streamed on NPR Music last night. Here is the link and the sound isn't half bad: http://www.npr.org/event/music/169066093/live-from-sfjazz-center-opening. The emcee was Bill Cosby, and his banter is on the recording as well. Enjoy
  9. Not here for Gojira, but I enjoyed the hell out of Calexico.
  10. Went looking for a bar and found a concert instead. Nice.
  11. Planning ahead and renting houses or whatever -- through Airbnb or similar -- would be cool. I haven't been to JazzFest but love NOLA, so I would be up for exploring options.
  12. Have a fantastic day my friend! Cheers!
  13. Red-meat averse daughter was at a friend's tonight so I ran out and got three nice little ribeye steaks, some baby brocoli, and some frozen yukon gold fries. Mmm, steaky. The red meat contingent was happy, except the "baby" brocoli was a little long in the tooth.
  14. Did you kick butt in Yahtzee too? Sounds like a good day either way.
  15. Pioneering suits you.
  16. Toilet rig?
  17. That and the new season started Sunday.
  18. First episode from last year Jacob? Pretty much all episodes are awesome. Did you see Abolitionists Ep. 1, Ric? I was curious from the ad.
  19. Happy birthday to the Earl of Bacon Sandwich! Have a great bacon- and Diet Coke-filled day Grahame! Cheers!
  20. Ew. You can see dog boy's weiner. Love it.
  21. One of my favorites. Steve McQueen rules!
  22. Done. Good going Raffy!
  23. Have a great one John! Cheers!
