  1. I found it by searching "seed art".
  2. Have a seedy day, Bonnie! Cheers!
  3. Claire wouldn't watch Breaking Bad after a few episodes. It made her nervous and she didn't like the characters. I have watched all of the rest of it solo.
  4. There are at least a few TB raid boxes, even some smallish ones with SSD drives, lIke from Pegasus and maybe LaCie. The announcement of TB two years ago was done with a big SDD raid array, which is what I have been dreaming about ever since. Maybe the drives are not cheap enough yet to be commercial but it seems crazy they aren't around but expensive.
  5. You're right, the third season was better than that, which is why Shelly liked it.
  6. Isn't season 3 the "white season" (the union/docks one)? Not the best but more goodness to come in the last two. Sheeeeeeeeit.
  7. I guess he learned from the best.
  8. Just got hooked into some WWII era crime novels by Phillip Kerr. Finished: Prague Fatale (which is one of the more recent ones in the series) March Violets (the first of the series) Now reading: A Pale Criminal (the second of the series)
  9. What my friend Dan said!
  10. What he said! Cheers
  11. Good free parking trumps a fancy license plate in my book.
  12. Estonia, Slovakia or Finland on the top of your list?
  13. I know you'd like as little human interaction as possible, but you could be the one to handle the computer and let them just listen...
  14. Have fun and don't break your neck!

  16. I will be seeing this trio from the front row next month with ironbut.
  17. Field coils and horns can be nice combinations -- and I love the $80K OMA AC-2 field coil speakers -- but $100,000 is too much money to spend on speakers as a rule* and I don't think that I would ever consider paying that much for an esoteric single driver that will be hard to resell. *Note: The OMA Imperia is about $170K but is the most amazing thing I have ever heard and you get a whole lot more for your money than the Voxativs.
  18. Going for artsy or black?
  19. I love furry humor.
  20. This is a good point, and should rule out any devices that Head-Fi considers as all-in-one options like the Benchmark (even though the new DAC does sound great) and Lavry DA11 and Grace. There is a T+A DAC 8 reviewed on Compute Audiophile, but he didn't know how to work it most of the time he had it and the review is not that helpful. The main advantage for your search is the size of the T+A (rimshot). I think the Weiss DAC2 or a Metric Halo ULN-2 would be great, but would not solve the problem of other media like USB sticks and SD cards. Why can't you just drag them onto your computer and play them from there, which would sound better anyway?
  21. Was: A FAT BASTARD Am: A FAT BASTARD! I need some inspiration to lose some weight and get in a little bit of shape, and this thread is working. Glad to hear mostly good news in it and hope to have something to add one of these days.
  22. I do not know Italian brands for Balsamic but I will ask Claire her thoughts. I know we like this one from a Sonoma olive oil maker: And we also came across a lot of places in Germany that used the glaze or crema balsamic reduction as a table condiment. It is great on bread, fruit, salad, etc. This is one brand we have used and liked, on the sweeter side.
  23. PM notifications are coming in normally so I don't think these correlate for me.
