MLB Playoff 2013
Well, the Pirates' offense hasn't shown up through 6 so I'm a little concerned about their ability to beat the Dodgers. I'm just going to wait and see who wins and then root for them against the damn Dodgers.

MLB Playoff 2013
You know, I'm kind of sick of the Cards too even though they are one of my typical NL fallback teams (in part due to a good friend from StL). I'm rooting for the Pirates tonight (so long as you'all think they can beat the Dodgers for sure)!

And now what did you do TODAY?
Yuck! And good luck!

MLB Playoff 2013
Sorry Wayne, but RED SOX WIN! I really want Detroit to beat the A's and then have the Sox take the pennant. Stupid Braves couldn't manage the Dodgers but I hope the Cards win and then wipe the LA blight out of the post-season.

Chicago "Let's get Fucked Up" Mini meet, Part 1
I had to have some of those Local Option dimpled mugs so I ordered them while you were out having fun and getting drunk. This is how they were delivered to me: The choice of box to reuse was amazing, but I especially like the extra effort to add the pentagram and da Bears on the top!

And now what did you do TODAY?
I watched lots of water going in the opposite direction on the way to the long term parking lot at SFO. Apparently a bus ran over a hydrant and Old Faithful SF was born

And now what did you do TODAY?
I hope you have some live gigs while you look like two-face because that would be awesome in black light and strobes and shit. I hope you feel all better soon, though, too.

RIP someone or another
When I'm gone, would somebody please say that I was generally badass, even if you don't think it is true? I really like the sound of that for an epitaph. RIP Signor Badass. Not a huge Clancy fan, but I'm surprised he was only 66 let alone that he died that young. RIP Mr. C. Adding to the list, I want to mention a guy I barely know named Leonard who passed away this week at the age of 50 or 51. He was the husband of one of Claire's good friends and a nice guy from my few interactions. He found out he had cancer less than a year ago, went through surgery and chemo and radiation and all that, only to find that the cancer was everywhere and stopping it was hopeless. He came home for hospice care on Friday and was gone Tuesday morning. Saddest part is that in his stupor after finding out about cancer last year he let his life insurance lapse and it was lost. While a two-teacher-income household is hard enough in SF, a one-teacher-income is going to be really tough and whatever they would have gotten from life insurance would have been a huge help. Fuck. RIP Leonard.

MLB Playoff 2013
I'd love to see the Dodgers get swept, but losing the NLDS will be good enough for me. Red Sox - Cards series would be epic.

Two thumbs up for the finale. Vince Gilligan should have written the end of Dexter so it didn't suck so much ass. - Running For St. Judes
