Fois gras on toasts with some vin rouge. Our Parisian friends brought four large cans of goose fois au torchon (encased in fat and wrapped in a towel). Amazing stuff, and even better with champagne but the red wine was open and handy.

Speaking of DLD 2014, it falls on the same weekend as Axpona, I believe. Anybody up for a ticket-buying blitz when they go up for sale? I think it could be the right year for HC/DLD. What say you?
