Spending the snow day with Abi sounds pretty darn good, Stephen. Alden turns 16 today, and it hurts that I'm not there. We will see him tomorrow, but it is the first birthday either of us have missed in 18+ years as parents.

We have a lot of white stuff here too But a lot of it has already burned off.

My daughter says that Poughkeepsie is expecting two feet of snow today.

Oddly enough, I was excused for cause. It was a car accident personal injury case and the only shred of reason I can think of is that I said I represent insurance companies, which is true. Weird but I'll take it. Some day I want to serve on one.

Those remind me that Dynamo Donuts is doing beer donuts with Almanac brews in them this week. Earlier tonight, Claire and I made Mike and Debbie's kale/fennel/sausage/white bean stew and it was delicious. I am still working and was thinking about having another helping even though now I really want Grahame and Joanne's donuts after seeing those pictures.
