RIP Mr Charters. Fresh Air re-ran a show from 1987 with a great interview the other day. Super interesting dude. I how he gets to meet the original blues men and women he studied after they were already gone.
Claire baked and built, but I frosted and toasted-coconuted this coconut layer cake with rum syrup, vanilla bean pastry creme filling and butter cream frosting. Pretty, if I do say so myself (even though it needs to set in the fridge and get cleaned up a bit).
Thanks for the well wishes, gang. God has gone all out in arranging a spectacle for my big day -- while it is always the first day of Spring, today there is also a Supermoon and a total eclipse of the heart sun. Wow, 52 didn't seem like an important milestone, but apparently I was wrong. Cheers all!
Wow, you have noticed that most of the 600+ million people in southeast asia are not fans of JH Audio sound? I have noticed that JH Audio is making a shitload of money selling to Asia -- including you (great deal) -- but maybe Fitears is really where its at. I thought you said you were going to go back to lurking, not trolling another product in a thread about JH Audio.
I actually watched the race yesterday when I determined that the last stage of the Paris-Nice cycling race was not recorded or available on demand for some mysterious reason. I can't say that I'm a convert -- and I imagine other races have more tension and drama other than the epic number of fails -- but it was cool to see a 17 yo kid racing (even if he had to abandon)!
If Kerry's amp is still available buy it. I am the proud owner of a DIYT2 he built for me and it is amazing. If that doesn't work out, and you cannot afford the HeadAmp BHSE, then go to Mjolnir Audio and see what Spritzer is selling or has coming up.
