  1. Hope it smokes as nice as it looks. I had a pipe stage 25 years ago - preferred custom pipes at the time. Enjoy

Liked this show as well. Makes me
  3. Voted in our primary election today.
  4. It's possible but not likely that flood insurance would have covered the damage. Water backing up through the drains does not meet the definition of a "flood" by itself. However, here in Michigan it is possible to purchase coverage for water which backs up through sewers and drains or due to sump pump failure. That coverage would apply to both damage to the finished basement and to personal property. You might want to check with your homeowners insurer to see if you have the coverage (it's included in many of the package endorsements to the policy) or if it is available to purchase. Nasty business, cleaning up after a backup. Glad it turned out as well as it did.
  5. ~Happy Birthday~
  6. ~Happy Birthday~
  7. Eureka Timberline 4-person tent. The irony? I own a very nice 2 year old travel trailer but it is on my season lease site which has proved to be extremely difficult to get in and out of. So tent camping it is for the annual family reunion camping trip next weekend. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
  8. That sucks Steve! Good news...dogs can find their way around extremely well due to their enhanced sense of smell even without sight. He needs time and your loving patience. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
  9. It's a trifecta. ~Happy Birthday to each of you~
  10. Returning home after celebrating Uncle Jim's 90th birthday! He still golfs a full round of 18 holes 3 times a week. I can only hope I'm in as good of shape should I live that long. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
  11. ditto, yea Brent!
  12. Since your audio budget will be capped, guessing she accepted? If so, congratulations!
  13. Golf cart delivered at 8:00 a.m. sharp as promised. Spent the day with my oldest grandson. He rode his bmx bike and I rode my cyclocross bike. Good times. Surprise visit from my oldest nephew. Then my oldest daughter and family showed to visit, eat and take her son back home. Relaxing with no plans tonight. Didn't really do anything but overall a good week away from work. Will return home tomorrow and then back to work on Monday.
  14. Gas. Long term cost is about the same. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
  15. Golf cart. 2005 Club Car w/seating for 4. Accessories cost as much as the cart. Gets delivered in the morning. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalkg
  16. Looked at golf carts. Now to decide which one and how tricked out we want it. Picked up the f250 after having it detailed. Looks sharp ... if it's possible for big pickup to look sharp.
  17. My oldest daughter and my two youngest grandchildren came up to the trailer this morning. The 2 year old is already an accomplished con artist. He asked to go for a walk and after a few minutes of stretching his legs decided he wanted to see the campground train. Put away as they only run it on weekends. He knows this. Of course he got me into the camp store to buy sweets. This was the entire purpose of the walk. Pretty sneaky for a little guy. The campground owner's mother has a trailer two sites down from mine. She died in the trailer this morning. When I left the ambulance had already come and gone, presumably taking her to a funeral home. But the County Sheriff was still there. The owner, his adult children and grand children all work at the campground. Lots of group hugs and crying. Dropped my pickup off for detailing and finally met my wife's guitar tutor after 3 years of lessons. Will eat dinner and go look at a golf cart tonight to take up to the trailer. Continuing my non roughing legacy
  18. Sangrias & chilling.
  19. Good luck Nate! 8 years ago I left an employer I had been with for 10 years. In my case it was a great move, not just a good move. Wishing you the same!!!
  20. Arrived at our trailer. Temps in the mid 80s but with high humidity. I've now retreated inside the trailer to avoid the weather. Looking forward to a week away from home and office. Brought up some Adirondack chairs with seat cushions. We've left roughing it far behind us Far cry from the 20+ years we spend in backpacking tents. Hard to call what we do now camping, but I'm enjoying it any way.
  21. Sorry to hear that Crappy. Hoping this is the last recurrence of chondrosarcoma. Reks, wishing you and your mother peace.
  22. Ouch. Sorry for the burn Shelly. Aloe is great stuff. Visited family today. Took my youngest daughter and her husband out for lunch. Italian restaurant with surprisingly good food. Had a nice visit and borrowed one of their books to read this week while on vacation. Mom wanted to go to her favorite restaurant so off we went. Family style food in a simple presentation, but always tasty. Had a nice visit and then headed off to see my sister and her husband. He just had a one foot section of his colon removed but seems to be recovering nicely. Has just resumed eating whole foods so we didn't tempt him with any. Stopped by for ice cream on the way home and had a German Chocolate Slurry. Yum! Dog was glad to see us and romped around the back yard for about an hour. Now I'm just relaxing from our travels today and glad we took the time to see everyone.
  23. Sorry for the loss of your friend Mike.
