  15. What do dads and adult daughters do for a dad/daughter date? We went to the Western Michigan/Central Michigan game today. Our alma mater lost, but we had a great time.

  19. I normally prefer dental work ... crowns, fillings, etc ... be done without numbness. For me the short term zing is much less discomfort than the means to alleviate it.

  23. I haven't heard much of the Beyer line. Hated the 770/990 but I like the DT880.
  24. Agree if you like the 580 to go with the 600. Dusty and I may be the only two here who like the DT880s.

    New Puppy

    A lot of current "wisdom" for dogs I choose to ignore. 30 years and 4 breeds/5 dogs, I've never brushed their teeth. Quest, my 13 yr old, not only has all his teeth intact, they look great. Been the case with all my dogs, with only one who broke a tooth at age 10. I've had to reach into the mouths of two of my dogs to pull porcupine quills, which they willingly let me do with no fuss and no biting. Teaching "settle" from the first time they come into your home pays dividends their entire life. Should help calm them for teeth cleaning as well.
