  1. Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse & St Elmo Steakhouse both look great. Fogo de Chão has better reviews and St Elmo is closer to the Omni Severin. Both local and not a chain. Also looking at Harry & Izzy's and the Oceanaire Seafood Room. Harry & Izzy's is apparently an offshoot of St Elmo. Need a seafood restaurant just in case that is my daughter's craving Saturday night. No doubt reservations are recommended. BTW, my daughter is the first one on either side of the family that has had cravings during pregnancy.. It's literally crazy and unpredictable. At least the steak houses have a broad menu so I should be safe ... I hope.
  2. We'll be at the Omni. Booked late so a short walk to the Fieldhouse. Good to have choices. My (pregnant) daughter will be with and today she's craving ribs
  3. We're walking. Staying near the Fieldhouse.
  4. I'll be in Indy next weekend and need restaurant recommendations near Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
  5. Good luck Jon. At the risk of being redundant, that sucks!

    Old Eyes

I've had progressives for years. Great for those of us with varying needs .... In front of computer at my desk, looking at work (both on screen and hard copy) looking from varying distances, mostly over other people's shoulders to meeting clients, viewing presentation monitors in meetings to just walking around. Versatile and almost instantaneous vision no matter the situation.
  7. You should be fine John. That said, in my area State Farm is the second worse company to deal with on a claim that I've run into for this kind of situation.
  8. Happy Birthday!!!
  9. I had just joined mass drop yesterday. They seem to have some nice deals ... audio and otherwise.
  10. Happy Birthday !!!
  11. Thanks everyone! Quiet birthday watching the MSU/Purdue game and now waiting for my daughters to visit today.
  12. Happy Birthday Dan!

  20. Hunh? Very few (if any) here would have heard either of those cans. You can get all kinds of free advice over at head-fi.org.
  21. Happy Birthday!
  22. Crappy, Art of Shaving is way over priced. Cella has a nice scent like almonds. Nice history to your brush. Larry, glad you caught the rupture as quickly as you did. Insurance will not pay to repair the plumbing but will pay for any damage caused by the water should you decide to submit a claim.
  23. Classic first razor that may prove to be your life long favorite. Good blade sampler pack. Try as many blades as you can to find ones you like best. Blades are cheap and I only use one for 3/4 shaves. As your technique improves I would be surprised if you don't get a closer shave than the Mach 3. It takes awhile to get the angle just right. One of my favorite inexpensive soaps is Cella. Lathers easily and at about $10/tub and will last for a very long time. Never used it but even more economical is VanderHagen which can be picked up almost any place in the US. Stay away from Williams. More difficult to lather but another favorite is Mitchell's Wool Fat. Proraso soaps are another good value. What are you using for a brush?
  24. I like safety razors. Technique takes time to master and it does matter. My shaves were never as close with a multi blade system. Hopefully you're not using shaving cream or gel from a can. Shave soaps/creams really do make a difference.
  25. Happy Birthday Wes!
