  4. nice tribute. RIP Yogi. One of kind seems like a gross understatement.
  5. Met Iron_Dreamer (Peter) @ Founders Brewing Co on his way through Grand Rapids. Short visit, a few beers and a quick lunch before he went on his way. Good times!

  7. Not happening here Shelly. PC, Apple and Android all working fine with HC. However, I had the issue on work pc and ipad mini before the upgrade. Never resolved it. And yes, it is annoying.
  8. Happy Birthday!!!
  9. RiP Joseph. Condolences Brent.
  10. Dan, I followed that advice. Keep putting in money no matter the ups and downs in the market. In retrospect, I'm not sure it was the right advice. Looking back knowing what I know now, I'm inclined to think real estate would have been better to put my $$$$$$$ in, even considering the bubble. Not saying you're wrong, but I am saying to weigh all your options and be especially critical of common wisdom. My personal experience is that is not so wise after all.
  11. So I was considering retirement. Not really, but I'm a lot closer than most of you. 3-7 years depending on many factors. Dan gave the corporate line. Keep investing consistently and things will work out for you. News flash. Many can't choose when to cash out .... sickness, disabillity, fired. You may not have the option of when to choose moving to safer investments. We have savings, liquid investments, 401K, stock market, mutual funds, bonds. etc. Even so, I'm not ready to retire today ... at least not willingly. Invest wisely my friends.
  12. Hope both you and your daughter continue to heal and the pain subsides.
  13. Hope you're feeling better. Get well soon Tyll.
  14. Happy Birthday!!!
  15. Sorry Knucks! Heal quickly, heal well and dry out.
  16. Happy Birthday!
  17. I've done the same as Al in ridding myself of wasps. Another method if you can safely reach the nest is to go after dark and squash the nest from the opening upwards. Make sure to use gloves. The wasps die in the nest this way. Then of course you can call my neighbor who collects the hives and rids homes of the infestation. I look across the street and see his collection hanging from the rafters in his garage when the door is open.
  18. Happy Birthday Todd!
  19. Happy Birthday Antonio!
  20. Watch the corners and make sure to give yourself plenty of room ... both to the driver side as well as ahead. Don't turn like you do a vehicle or you'll have big trouble. Give yourself more room to brake as well. Otherwise it is remarkably like driving a vehicle if set up properly. Good luck!
  21. Visited with Al & Claire today. Good times! Visited, dined, and toured the local attractions. Al & Claire are wonderful hosts! Beautiful country in the Leelanau peninsula. Sadly, we only had time for a day trip. Hope we can make this happen again.
  22. RIP Buggy. So sorry for your loss Steve. I still have pain when someone mentions Quest who died this year. I find it touching that you chose her favorite spot in the yard for her final resting place. In time you will have great memories of Buggy every time you see that spot. Sweet eternal dreams Buggy.
