Well, I dont think it could be that difficult if I lived in US, which have a better choices, regarding Audiogon, however when I check some second hand market up here, its not that bad at all, but going the same way as I did with amps/phones, isnt my preference at all, especially within EU. I think your idea of roll a dice isnt that bad, but only if the price is right, cos reselling up here is not that easy. The meaning of the thread, at least what I thought, was to get an idea of possible choices and I think I am getting the picture:eek: Thanks for your input, and, I relly like your English8)

I agree with you that hp must not be the factor up here, but listen through the speakers is something different from hp. Also the differences may not be the huge factor, when you get USD 3k source, cos they all sounds good, but for different folks only... To tell you the true, I do not want to spend such money for a source, must be a cheaper solution, imo, but on the other hand I do not mind if people does8)

Well, because HD650 are totally different than GS1k, I wonder if we can share the same CDP with correct results. For example, just what I could read so far, Arcam MFJ36 seems to be very good CDP, but than again to dry/cold for GS1000, especially bass reproduction of older or records with lower bass quantity, isn't ideal. Have the same issue with my NAD, which simply a great for the money, but I need one which can get the most of any record, old or new one, and bring it to my ears as natural possible. Another thing is that the price range of your choice isn't my preference/wiliness to spend now, or ever, want to keep it most "real", if I can say so. I have got some hint about old Marantz CD94 MKII CDP, but the price of it is ridicously high, imo. How about the Linn? Seems to be a very musical player.

I am thinking of NAD M5, NAD M55, Arcam FMJ36, Rega Saturn, Rega Appolo. There is no limit to these CDP's only, just to give you an idea, but it would be used with EAR HP4 and GS1000. So, if you have some idea's or cheaper solutions/choices, please share. THX

I have read all that crap to, so now I am doubting to buy one, however pairing them with some nice portable amp or home one may change their idea of accoustics only. When they came out, they were EUR 220 or something, and now they are like EUR 100... Thats because of the new following model, which they claim as all rounder, but they are closed back called ARTHUR FORTY PSC EWS X.O

These are very good looking, seems that they are very good build quality as well. From what I have read, they are not all-rounder, but for classical and acoustic music especially, they are superb.

I was asking this before, not here, but I do not have that impression that these were ever tried by somebody. As far as I know you can not buy them in Europe or U.S.A., but in Russia is no problem. When they came out, like year ago, they were like USD 250-300 and now you can get them for like USD 140. So, the question is, anybody who can share? I am not looking for an review, cos I have seen them, just need "inside" information, if you know what I am talking about, someone from community... THX

All people I know, who have this NESPRESSO thing, are very happy with it. The most comment they have, its damn easy, fast & no mess after, while you get decent, or for some folks GREAT cup of coffee... And, you can always try it, before you buy this thing. Up here, in Holland, you can take a bite in their coffee corner, which is great, imo, so it would be no surprise like, what the hell I just got.

Well, thats the warmest welcome I have got up here so far, sure thing. So, guys, come with more please... Zana is a great amp, especially for HD650, but when you own GS1000 only, which some call freaky and others exceptional, you need a better low imp match, so I took this chance with EAR. Need more time with EAR, but the time is very limited at the moment:( I have some NOS tubes coming my way, so when they are in, will get my hands on EAR for sure. Oh yeah, heating Zana. When I compare Zana vs. EAR, after 2 hours of been on, I could bake eggs on Zana. These 2 bulky Russian tubes are heat monsters, sure thing. So, I guess you are right about my central heating bills, what I was thinking:palm:
