That's not a career, I'd rather review porn, or food!

That might actually do the trick, I'll let you know what I think if I eventually buy one, thanks.

I liked it so much I bought a Multi-pass online a few years ago. Wish I could find it now, or the place I bought it, but it didn't look nearly this good. (it's probably with my fake driver's license for Jesus Christ, really). Because I often use a cane to walk around I sometimes have to tuck the iPad under my arm if I need a free hand. Eventually it slips out if I'm not careful enough. I was thinking about going with a shoulder strap messenger bag kind of case now. The iPad 2 seems to dent more easily than the original, which is still dent free after I used it for almost a year in the crappy Apple case. Yeah, I guess it has been therapeutic. Thanks for the link. I forgot they were the one who make that iPad case that they threw out of the airplane and video taped the process.

I'm going to make them resemble symbols for air, fire, water and earth.

So, Comcast BBC and iTunes don't have season 17 yet. Anyone know when that might be coming?

Wait, what is missing the mini-toslink? -
I too can deal with a little hiss in some gear. The only combo I've tried that was truly horrible with hiss was the Amp3 with any of my IEM. What I'd be concerned about more is reading that the gain of the 3A is too high, so there is little useable volume range. Is that really a big issue, and has it been addressed?

I don't feel too bad about the little iPad dents anymore, but I'm sorry you have to re-do your knife edge. My Shun 8" has only been used a couple of times and I like it a lot. PS: Looking closely there's actually a second corner that is dented too, diagonal from this one. I'm sure in a month all 4 corners will be this way...

Well, it was bound to happen. The Yoobao case has been on the iPad 24/7 since it was swapped out due to a bad SIM card slot 2 weeks ago. Either it got dented through the case (yes, I have dropped it a few times) or the guys that put the screen protector on today did it but deny responsibility. At least that's over with. More to come I'm sure.

I got this one a couple of weeks ago and forgot about it, so the date is off by a day.

I want an iOS virtual machine running inside of OSX. EDIT - I left the reply window open for a while, and missed the post above before I posted.

That's pretty funny. Sports bra and all?

Hi Tyler! You are missed. Will you be back in time for the Westone meet on 8/6?

I'll check out the v-moda, thanks. As for the Zagg screen protector - it did a good job fixing the glare and fingerprint issue with the screen, but I can't re-install the old one, the edges are too dirty and not sticky enough. I didn't have the full body coverage Zagg.

My IPad 2 started reporting "No SIM" several times a day, and reseating the SIM each time helped initially. But after a couple of days of this I was having more trouble getting the SIM to be recognized until I removed and re-inserted the SIM several times. On Monday the Apple Store genius squirted some compressed air in the SIM slot, and told me that if the issue continued I should go get a new SIM card from ATT because that is where 95% of the problems with "No SIM" come from. I got home from my appointment and found the iPad 2 reporting no SIM again, but this time reseating the SIM didn't help so the ATT store replaced it with a new SIM which worked. I got home to find it reporting No SIM again. So I saw the genius again the yesterday who decided to give me a refurbished iPad 2 as a replacement, and I still have my 21 months of Apple Care. The refurb looks good as new and it didn't come pre-dented, so I guess I have nothing to complain about. I saved the Zagg screen protector, and if I can find the original package I can mail it back and have them send me a new one. While I was at the Apple Store I asked about Tyler (who works there) and found out that he is at his Turkish Immersion Program in Minnesota. (edit, sorry Wisconsin). I hope he's having fun. :\ Also bought my daughter some $40 UE 700i earphones at the Apple Store for her birthday, hoping they are better than her Skullcandy Ink'd that die every 3-4 months. Has anyone here tried those out?

The SR-5NB is still one of my favorite budget headphones, along with the SR-Lambda.

Thanks, I'll just send him a PM.

Tyll, I have a set of 120ohm SFI orthos with wood cups that Smeggy made for me, using my old AKG K240 headband and some Canare cable. I should send them to you to try out and measure/listen. But I missed where you gave an address to send them for review.

Yep, bed is dangerous for iPads, where they fall prey to weakened wrists and slippery night stands. Wait a sec, I kinda like the way that sounds.

I have a spare CRT I'll give you.

Picked up our 17 year old daughter from the Denver airport after a 3 week trip to Germany with some other kids from her school, and took her to the cheesecake factory for dinner and desert. It's nice to have her back, and while she had a great time there she was ready to be home again too.

Thanks for all the effort. -
What's different with them? (I got mine last July)

I'll ry that, but the funny thing is that I don't hear it all the time. I need to pay more attention to what music and gear I'm using when I hear it, and see if I can find a correlation or relationship with anything in common when I hear it.
