  1. Stupid Apple/ATT website can't handle the volume of orders and it keeps timing out when checking our ATT account for eligibility. I got into ATT after a few tries, but they couldn't process the upgrade, and now their site is down and Apple has given up taking orders online. The only reason this bugs me so much is that I HATE FRICKIN' STANDING IN LINE AT THE STORE FOR 12 HOURS WHEN PRE-ORDERS DON'T WORK. There, that feels better. Latest - so Apple is now making these pre-orders a reservation with a confirmation number to hold your place in line, and then will send an email when they are ready to verify your eligibility with AT&T. Print Your iPhone has been reserved. Your reservation number is: 3712XXXXXXXX We will email you at [email protected] when it's time to complete your order. At that time, you can link back to the Apple Store to confirm eligibility and your iPhone voice, data and messaging plans. You can then place your order, and your new iPhone will be shipped to your door. You may check the status of your reservation at any time by visitingbuyiphone.apple.com/status
  2. Happy Birthday
  3. My understanding is that they are working on an separate or add-on digital lens for the PWD, but the Bridge and PWT have one already. But I'll try to research that more.
  4. Yeah, I've got 19 years to go. But I run out of money in 15...
  5. Also, does anyone know if the new 4S will be available unlocked?
  6. i think the Digital Lens is only included with the PWT and Bridge, but not via USB, optical or Coax input.
  7. But has anyone here used and enjoyed these to report on them?
  8. DAMMIT! R.I.P Steve. ...more articles I read before coming here http://gizmodo.com/5838847/steve-jobs-is-dead http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/05/steve-jobs-dead_n_997223.html http://www.gazette.com/articles/died-126252-gazette-jobs.html

  10. That's cool, congrats!
  11. I wonder if that could be improved with an SSD or hybrid hard drive and more ram?
  12. Not if you are practicing bukake...
  13. Do the HE-60 drivers come standard with decent dust guards? I wonder of my old boxed up drivers are protected.
  14. Happy birthday!
  15. I laughed so hard I choked on my own spit.
  16. You friend just gave them to you, to keep for free? Did they work when you got them, and what did you think of the sound? I've turned down offers for as much as $2500 for mine. When I first got mine there was a channel imbalance and I spent $500 having new drivers, o-rings and pads installed. The bass improved a bit after the new o-rings, and they're one of my favorite headphones, although a little more bass impact would be nice. Bass presence and extension however is good. I've considered turning my old drivers and spare pads into another HE-60, since the channel imbalance would improve with 3-4 hours of warm up.
  17. The End? That's just so wrong! PS: I wish I could un-see that.
  18. Let me rephrase that, "she might not know what she's missing if she has a Shun (vs all the other crap out there she's used over the years)".
  19. Happy Birthday!
  20. I'm not sure my wife would know the difference between a Shun and a Shigefusa.
  21. The ER-6i and Jays q-JAY are tiny and short and disappear pretty deeply inside the ears, so you can put a helmet on and off pretty easily. I'd worry about many others that project more into the outer ear area.
  22. So, if your other room falls through it looks like I'll have space in my room, since Blutarsky is only driving up for Sunday and maybe Friday, but he can't spend the nights or Saturday there. If I don't have anyone who needs to crash in our room I know that my son will be happy to actually have his own bed to sleep in this year, but if we can help someone out we will.
  23. Cool, I pre-ordered it a few weeks ago and the last 2 weeks are gonna be no fun waiting.
  24. That was cute. I sure hope those kids were seat belted in place on that little train - it looks like a long drop over the sides.
  25. I understand that one. Some of the stuff I got her is practical, like the jackets, but she loves getting those for birthdays and Xmas. I got the jackets now since we wont be doing anything other than stocking stuffers for Xmas, because we're spending a week in Mexico instead of doing presents. Mexico is definitely not practical, but it will be special because her whole family is going together on this trip too (her 3 siblings, their spouses and their kids, our kids, and her mom). They all decided to use some money from her father's estate to go on a big vacation together and make some memories before her mom gets too old to do it (77 yr old). Her dad was also 77 when he passed away 2 months ago. But the funny thing is, she was thrilled over the new Ryobi self-propelled battery-operated lawn mower for mother's day.
