Well, I mean I'm not sure how I feel about the staggered center link sticking out, and how it doesn't perfectly line up with the edge of the leather strap. And in the photo it looked like there was still a gap on the sides between the end link and the lugs.

I never realized how big the lug-gap was with a standard leather strap, having only used the factory SS bracelet or a NATO strap on my Rolexes. The NATOs are good at hiding the gap. The end cap link is kinda clever, but not sure how I feel about the fit in the photo.

What if you use a VPN like Hotspot Shield which would hide your location?

I just dropped my TT off today at the local Soundshop to get my MC cart chg back to my MM cart because I don't have a proper preamp, and I'm spending the money I'd saved to fix the hot tub instead ($300 for shorted out heater and ruined circuit breaker). -
The mini M8 uses the same DAC, and just has less power. We tried it with some K701 at RMAF and it didn't drive them very well vs the larger HiFi-M8. But for IEM the Pico DAC/Slim combo with CCK is hard to beat, although with my low impedance V-MODA M-100 the HiFi-M8 or Encore mDAC had a little better synergy. The Pico Slim is still surprising with LCD-2 and HE-560, but the HD800 don't get enough power although the sound is good. I use it a lot with my iPod nano filled with lossless and a really good LOD, since it's such a tiny package. I picked the M8 because I could carry one DAC/ amp that can be used with my Mac, phone or iPad, and can be tuned to work with all of my headphones and IEM (except for HE-6 and stats) via a combo of switches for output impedance, gain, bass boost or treble boost.

WHAT THE FUCK WAS APPLE THINKING WITH OS X YOSEMITE? It looks terrible, and it locks us more tightly into Apple's idea of how the computer should look and feel instead of letting us keep things looking and working the way we're used to. Everything is so flat and ugly, icons suck, and windows look dull and featureless. Steve Jobs is rolling over in his grave right now. I wanted to get back my favorites bar that ran across the top of the window in Safari, not this fucking sidebar we're stuck with, and it took 20 minutes to find it, although I still can't find a "create new tab" button. Meanwhile they stole our sidebar from iTunes 12 and then stuck it in Safari with no option to change it in either app. WTF? I lost this entire post when trying to figure out how to open a new tab using the mouse, and had to retype it, simply for accidentally clicking the "top sites" button instead of on the "show all tabs" button, where you then have to take a second step to click the plus sign. I do a lot of web surfing on the 50" TV with an Apple TV and mirroring, using just a mouse and this just adds unnecessary steps. And the new spotlight window popping up in the center of the screen without being able to move it to the side sucks balls. I just wish Apple would leave things alone - if it aint broke don't fix it. -
I've been saying something similar on the other site. The iPhone 4s was one of my favorite sounding iPhones, and Apple screwed that up with the 5 and 5S, making them little bit more forward in the upper mids and more rolled off in the treble. But I think they redeemed themselves with the audio output of the 6 and 6+, of which I have both. Frequency response is much better balanced and the soundstage is larger and less forward, although they still lack that ultimate micro detail and treble extension that I'd like. You can really hear this when you use an external DAC/amp like the CEntrance HiFi-M8 and compare the outputs. The biggest benefit of using the HiFi-M8 is the ability to switch the output impedance from 1 ohm to 2 ohms or 10 ohms. The sound of an IEM can vary dramatically with the switch, and some IEM just sound better with 10 ohms, including the JH audio Roxanne (Jerry agrees). Others, like the Aur sonics IEM worked better with 1 to 2 ohm (Dale agrees).

Went through a similar thing, but remembered ahead of time to call with my cell phone instead VOIP so I didn't lose them during the modem reset. They doubled my internet speed with Xfinity triple play, and cut my current bill by $60/mo the first year, and cut it by $40/mo the second year. After that I'll still save $20/mo, and still no contract.

We'll, after almost 2 years, I'm back with a vengeance...

Nice - too bad it broke, but nice that you got a new one. My daughter's June 2012 Macbook Pro 13" has been down for about 12 weeks out of the past 8 months, with 6 different trips to the apple store for replacement hard drives, RAM and finally motherboards - It was having shutdowns and then couldn't be turned on, often corrupting the hard drive during the crash. Even a fresh OS X install didn't help. Every time it happened it needed to be opened up and have the battery removed to get it started up again, since the keyboard trick to reset the SMC wouldn't work. And, WiFi network OS X install was not available, due to some hardware issue, so they kept installing OS X from a hard drive at the Apple Store. Finally we got them to take back the computer and replace it, as Applecare promised, since they labeled it a "lemon". They even "let us" pay an extra $700 to get her upgraded it to a 13" retina Macbook Pro 8 GB/512 SSD, since they don't make the 2.9Ghz/750GB version of the Macbook with DVD drive anymore. They also said that we could file for a pro-rated refund on her remaining 9 months of extra-cost Applecare. -

I just want to know when iTunes will be able to download multiple small purchased files in the background without a spinning beach-ball and major lag when trying to do anything else in iTunes during the multi-file download. Buy an album with 30 songs, and then try to create playlists or shop for other albums during the download. Is the download slowing down iTunes from doing anything else? Everything else on the Mac runs fine during a download, with other apps being used and no lag in them, but iTunes itself puts like 95% of it's own energy into the download so you can't surf the store and buy more stuff or make playlists during the download. It's been this way since iTunes 10 with any of our Macs and never gets better. So, what did they F'up this time? -
Why is iOS 8.0 and 8.02 several times more buggy than iOS 7.1.2

I have a couple of watches that I plan going to give my younger brother for his Birthday and Christmas in 2 months. I've given him a watch every year for the past 5 years, and he loves having a variety of watches without having to pay for them on a sous chef salary. He went through hard times and previously sold his good watches and I know he misses them. One is a used but cleaned up and serviced TAG Heuer Classic 2000 from the mid to late 90's based on serial number, that I bought from Marc last year. The other is a brand new Seiko 5 automatic that I bought to replace his almost identical 1970's Seiko 5 that had the crown snap off and a bracelet link give out, as the cost to fix and service the old one was more than a new one. I still worry about only 30M water resistance, but I already know he liked it enough to buy once before. Most of the previous watches I gave him are steel dive watches that he can wear at work as a chef, because he has to wear rubber or steel on his watches while cooking (Stuhrling, Invicta, Orient Mako). The exception was a Citizen eco-drive field chronograph on a canvas strap that I gave him so he'd have something extremely lightweight and cool for the hot Phoenix summers. But today I saw another watch that I think looks fairly "unique" that maybe he would enjoy wearing away from work. It's an Orient with in-house 21 jewel automatic movement and sapphire crystal, and genuine leather, but still only 30M WR. What do you guys think about this watch? It's in my budget at half the cost of the Seiko SARX015, but would any of you guys consider one? I think he'd like a watch that stands out as different, as opposed to the five "submariner-style" dive-watches I already gave him. I want this watch to be something that everyone else isn't wearing, and this one looks a little "retro-cool" to me. But maybe the TAG and Seiko will be fine this time around, and I can save the money for his 50th birthday next year. I'm thinking about giving him one of my Omega/Luminox/Victorinox for his 50th birthday next year, since that's a special milestone; or maybe picking up a Constellation Pie Pan from 1965 (birth year) and flying out there to give it to him since he has no family left in Phoenix. Or, if I don't spend more money on an extra watch, maybe I'll send him one of my Travagans headphones amps and a pair of modded ATH-A900 instead of a watch.

The 7750 is used in Chronographs, including the modded Omega version Cal 1164 in the Speedmaster Date model. Here is what I found about this watch movement.

That's a handsome looking watch, but I spent too much time trying to guess how the complications work.

Here is a snapshot of my iPhone 6+ battery life - pretty good at 11.5 hours of use over a 1 day 10 hour period. I can charge it every other day. 98% of my battery use was detailed in the snapshot, and I don't recall what the remaining 2% of the use was with, but I think it was Camera, reminders, notes, and Find my Friends. (I do most of my music and movies with an iPad, so it's not showing on the phone)

It's only on the clasp. But I took your advice anyway. Now to call my shrink...

I use a synergistic research powered shielding coax digital cable that I got really cheap as "used" one year when I bought the square wave XL amp, but I don't bother to plug it into the wall because I was thought that was a hocus-pocus cocoanut audio kinda shit. Does that really work too?
-
Nah... I'll still wear at indoors and at night with the ugly tape on the clasp, then take up meditation.
