  1. SO SORRY WE MISSED YOU! Happy Birthday!
  2. Those are fairly decent speakers, so that's a good price. I gave a set to my son to use as rear channel speakers in the HT setup, and while not as good as the Epos ELS-3 that I gave him for his front channel they have great mids and transparency, and don't have that boxy sound that a lot of budget speakers have. They could use a little more sparkle, but I can't call them dark.
  3. Sorry about your health. Praying for your improved health!
  4. Only nursing, PT and OT. Not a personal servant/adult babysitter.
  5. Except that I've sold off the 007/009 and KGSS last summer and shipped off the KGBH last week. So I have HEV-70 driving HE-60 or LNS, but still have all my dynamics. The HE-60 + KGBH was a killer combo, but we needed to cash to upgrade the totaled car and pay for a baby sitter to help my daughter and I when we're home alone and stuck in wheelchairs.
  6. I'm back in the hospital for another ankle surgery to revise the first one that was not successful. I'm staying optimistic that my ankle can heal better from this point forward. Looking forward to going home in a day or two. I can't bear weight on my left leg for 10 weeks, and in six months I'll have to have a pin joining two bones inside removed. I've had a total of four different surgeries with four doctors on my case, and two of them have differing opinions about my femur surgery result. One of them wants to replace the rod, and one wants to take a wait and see approach. Because I elected to take the more conservative approach, I'll be forced to do follow-up care for that in Denver with my first surgeon. Sigh... McKenna seems to be feeling better, finally. So there's that.
  7. Option-Click on the sound icon
  8. I'm thinking she had a mitochondrial DNA disorder, and outlived the doctor's expectations. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&ved=0CCYQFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Femedicine.medscape.com%2Farticle%2F948360-overview&ei=PjqnVJ-WMM6SyAT7qIKgAw&usg=AFQjCNGSGgJmbAadtEfaXbMajlcw0La93A&sig2=uQHorQH6JGMFOL_-qZI5vQ&bvm=bv.82001339,d.aWw It still sucks, but she got so much love while she was here to make up for a short life.
  9. Pix of the swatch and bands?
  10. a Happy New Year is just what we need
  11. I might have picked one Coke bezel GMT II with sapphire, 3185 movement, and super-luminova instead of both the Speedy and Datejust. Although when I made that choice myself I already had a vintage speedy and Submariner in the collection... I LOVE MY COKE GMT II
  12. I don't think the 80's lume has aged well, so it's not as attractive as some other aged watches - the linen dial one looks cleaner to me.
  13. Surgery was canceled because the damage is more extensive on CAT Scan, and I have to wait for the ankle specialist to re-do everything, but he's still out for the holidays. So, it's not as simple as it first looked.
  14. I'm going back into surgery today, for a revision on my left ankle. Well wishes and prayers are welcome! My daughter had her repeat surgery done Monday, and we're waiting to find out when she can go home.
  15. Happy Birthday!
  16. Happy Birthday!
  17. BUY the Datejust and forget the Constellation - you'll be happier. I was going to suggest this one for the 3035 movement and sapphire, but the one you selected might have a better looking dial. http://www.piecesoftime.net/salesww_pages/1952rolexdj16030.html
  18. Happy birthday!
  19. Make sure the lume is not flaking off the dial and hands, which could get into the movement. And get a genuine crystal with the Omega logo engraved in the center.
  20. Yeah, I missed it too! Sorry and happy everything!
  21. Happy Birthday!
  22. My iPhone 6 now feels small, and the 6+ feels normal to me. I was going to use 6+ like a glorified iPad mini, but now I'm using it as my phone too.
  23. Cinder has started sleeping with McKenna and soothing her nerves, except when he jumps on her broken legs...
