  1. You could come over to my house tomorrow with your laptop and rip some of my CD's
  2. Well, it turns out one of the two pair in Todd's room is mine, which everyone will listen to at CanJam and then will be going home with me.
  3. How did that guy get away with fake-humping the news-girl and not have the cameraman hit him with a shovel?
  4. We should have lunch together before you leave - my treat.
  5. I was really hoping with the rumors of shipping this week that I'd have my HD800 to try out on the Woo WA22 or EC ZDT, but the HD800 wont even ship to HR till tomorrow, so we'll only be able to listen to them on HR or TTVJ's gear.
  6. Nice. The PM9 has been my primary carry gun since they were introduced many years ago - it was in the early batches that had a barrel recall to reshape the feed ramp to be more reliable with a wider variety of ammo. I didn't have much problem with the original barrel except that it would not feed Corbon 115 gr +p+ at all. But everything else would feed fine and I still appreciated their customer service from Dottie at Kahr. I use a FIST kydex pocket holster which works great, and I have a Milt Sparks Watch Six dual talon holster for in the waistband as well (which I am feeling a bit too fat to use now). I keep 147 gr Ranger Talon loaded in it, and it's been very accurate with everything I have fired through it, and never fails to function. The only issue is that my night sights are starting to get dimmer than when I first got it, because of the age. I think they have to be replaced like every 10 years or so. PS: I had the MK9 too and it is much heavier. I gave that away to my niece as a wedding present last summer a year ago. Maybe the most expensive gift I have given to date (husband Air Force Academy graduate, living off base in San Antonio, needed protection).
  7. Sure would like to see mine this week before I leave for the airport at 5PM Friday. I was told I am #7 on the list, and would pay to overnight them...
  8. I am still surprised at how well an O2 Mk1 can be driven by a $300 8-watt tube hybrid and SRD-7 Pro...
  9. iPod with Wadia iTransport 170 iRiver H120 or H140 used (no longer in production) Apple TV Computer with Squeezebox or Airport Express if you simply need to place shift
  10. Hmmm... Listened to some samples, and his melancholy "angry" piano isn't doing it for me. I'll have to think about this one. (time limit wont let me edit my last post, even though I clicked edit before 15 minutes was up - but I didn't save in time)
  11. Thanks, will check it out!

  13. Interesting.
  14. Jackson, welcome back - don't miss the Colorado High-Fi meet 7/25/09 in Denver.
  15. Moved the facepalm and a$$hat to the end and it works without spaces.
  16. :basement::basement:
  17. x2 Too bad the XRCD version costs about $60 for the 2 disk set, but I have that and the standard single disc version. And still have the LP hidden in a box around here that I bought in the 80's

  19. That was my first thought too.
  20. BTW, your iPhone case looks similar to my Mophie Juicepack Air, which does come close to doubling my battery life. I don't have to plug into the car power to get a 15 minute charge up a few times a day anymore. I'll usually have between 70-90% of my battery life left at the end of the day now, instead of running out 3-4 hours before bedtime.
  21. The 3D effect is kinda eery and the clouds look like cotton balls attached to blue painted glass. If you took the sky as the only element in the photo, and flipped it, it might look like the earth photographed from space.
  22. Lot's of companies use Chinese batteries.
  23. My dreams were always for having been signed up for a class that I never attended - either didn't know I was signed up, or forgot about it, and then realizing that I was screwed with the semester ending that day and I hadn't even shown up for the final exam either. Those dreams didn't end till I was almost 40, which was about 10 years after I finished my pediatric residency program.
