  3. The web client on Chrome is working very smoothly, not a single glitch in all the afternoon-evening, more than 5 hours and counting. Looks like the server upgrade/change in the US is taking longer than it should
  4. Today the desktop client is working for me, but with way too many drop outs to consider this a proper streaming.
  5. Very true. We have a say here which applies in these cases, something like "God gives bread to those without teeth and hunger to those without bread".

If they're half as clever as they seem to be on the show, that's what they should do.
  7. Very Happy Birthday, Al!!!! I wish you have a great day. Time for a toast to yours
  8. They have become part of the Louis Vuitton group of companies. Zenith did too, but they're not as much (yet) marketing focused. Luxury is a huge business, looks like the most intelligent are not the richest.
  9. OMG this is serious
  10. I have none and I'm pretty happy. I am assuming that most socialites would say my social life is next to nonexistent.
  11. That they're switching to a new server is good news, I guess. If they can provide a decent service without drop outs in lossless, I'll be in despite the shitty interface.
  12. Yes, 32GB, I'd take FD but you need Flash. This-is-da-Case, people please.
  13. The desktop client always worked worse than the browser one, but now it's dead, it skips from a tune to the next one in a fraction of a second while nothing sounds. Did you ever get it to scrobble to your LastFM account? IMO that software is a serious POS.
  14. Hehehe, this must explain why it's working so damn well today here. No skips at all on the web client on Chrome.
  15. Yeah the Sea Dweller is more like the Pelagos, but SD and Submariner aren't that different actually. For some reason I've liked the Submariner since I was a kid and it's perhaps my favourite watch, so anything resembling it will fit me better. Huge bias OTOH 42mm is the largest size my wrist can wear without me looking like a clown.
  16. Aesthetically I like the Pelagos better, but that's just because it looks much like the Submariner and like you, the yellow accents aren't my thing. I like the power reserve feature and the overall looks.
  17. Yup, they're giving their final concerts before retiring. They lost way too many members At this moment they're touring Europe. Unfortunately not Spain http://www.songkick.com/artists/126820-buena-vista-social-club/calendar Now listening to Gregory Porter - Issues of Life It's available at Tidal
  18. RIP, Mike. Toto was one of my favourite groups in the 80s Today died Claudio Cifuentes, more known as "Cifu". He's been carrying on a radio show about jazz on a daily basis at the Spanish Public Radio for 42 years. He also had a jazz TV show for a few years in the late 70s to early 80s. Thanks to this man I learned quite a bit about jazz. An awesome guy, he even replied personally to an email I sent to him. I listened to one of his shows about three weeks ago. He'll be missed. RIP Cifu.
  19. Red Bull are now crying like little girls that if the rules don't change they're leaving F1
  20. Buena Vista Social Club - Lost and Found Ready to listen at NPR in the First Listen program.
  21. Great job, Anurag. What a bunch of awesome people
  22. Happy birthday!
  23. Don't worry, under normal use the JLC leather straps can last way longer than one year. Use on it from time to time a good fine leather protection cream, specially to avoid moisture getting into it. Keeping it flexible will help the "tension hole" to stay round and not getting a transversal crease which might lead to a break line. Those clasps are nice and help reducing tension, but are quite expensive too. There are many wonderful affordable leather straps to substitute the original JLC. Most high end watches are overpriced, as any other luxury item, but I agree that Hublot is particularly offensive in that regard IMO.
