  5. The Philadelphia Experiment According to Wikipedia: The Philadelphia Experiment is the self-titled album resulting from a collaborative project including Uri Caine (keyboards), Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson (drums) and Christian McBride (bass). Guest musicians include Pat Martino (electric guitar), Jon Swana (trumpet) and Larry Gold (cello and arrangement).
  6. Happy Birthday!!!

  8. I'm afraid he has the same of an audio engineer as I have of a porn star... yes, but that's all
  9. I wish they're fine. Please post about Vicki and Mike when you know more, hopefully Gene and Becky are fine staying there. Raffy should be good. Fingers crossed, good luck!
  10. Jonathan Zwartz - The Sea Kind of easy listening, but with interesting things going on.
  11. I'm probably wrong, sorry Özgür. The font of the "audio capacitor" line seemed a bit larger and bolder than I remember in them. Why do you think the Jensens are better than the Mundorf Silver in Oil? I hadn't said so.
  12. A few tunes by Art Pepper which his widow released as an homage on his birthday, September 1st: Arthur's Blues Thank You Blues Landscape There's another track including two tunes (Everything Happens to Me and Straight Life), but sound quality is quite worse
  13. If those caps weren't fakes...
  14. happy Birthday!!!
  15. I see. I'll look for that tune and see what he's doing. For your explanation I think I can understand why my teacher advised me to pay him a listen. That circling around and keeping the music unresolved, leading it to resolve wherever you want it to, is what he's getting me into.
  16. I know we were talking about jazz and complex music, but I've lost track, sorry
  17. Not Always Doped
  18. Yup, it's most likely fake. I've been investigating a bit more with the help of a jazz connoisseur friend (he hosts a radio show). We've found a playlist on Spotify including lots of tunes played on that TV show. doing a search over it I've found the tune that was sounding when that vinyl was supposed to be playing. It's a 2006 tune by a band named Five in Orbit, from their self titled album. If you feel curious, it's available on Spotify The only other chance that comes to mind is that the album and cover are legit, but for being copyright protected music, they played a tune by other unknown band having a lower royalties cost.
  19. I'd say so http://www.liebherr.us/HGH/en-GB/96683.wfw
  20. This is the back of the album I'm not buying a vintage collectible album would have a barcode, but it could be a sticker...
  21. Thanks Mike. I searched by album title (on allmusic and discogs) and description using "white dots", "white circles", etc. The album, if true, would be more a 60's or 50's release. On a later episode they pretend to play it (on a Dual turntable I'd say) and the music felt a bit more like middle sized swing orchestra than a small bop combo. I think I should be able to take a caption of the back side of the cover, if that helps. I'm starting to think that it's just atrezzo.
  22. Barça is still a great team, and they've got a good amount of cash from that sale. I expect they make strong signings in the winter season. Winning La Liga isn't going to be easy. The Real question is, will the Real win its third Champions in a row?
  23. Then my advice is that you look at Liebherr. Ours, a two door fridge and cooler has been working without a glitch for 18 years. It could use a new rubber seal on the top door, but it's doing fine. On that one, besides the good capacity, I like the multi-temperature feature. Think of champagne, white, rosé, red, beer...
  24. I didn't know that about the French Well, I'm not typical Spanish, that's true.
