  1. It's not exactly "a song" but it's something you might enjoy. Good for a whole Xmas eve dinner
  2. MONK'estra - Plays John Beasley Available on many online streaming services: https://album.link/i/1516435048 Straight ahead biggish band jazz. Pretty fun.
  3. This
  4. Happy BDay!!!
  5. Linda Ronstadt: Greatest Hits Vol.1
  6. Happy Birthday, Todd!!! I wish you had a great day.
  7. Great race. I'm sorry for Russell, but I'm so so so happy for Checo If McLaren had been a little bit more clever reading the race and had gone to just one stop... Bottas definitely isn't Mercedes worth.
  8. I absolutely agree, Clearaudio spinners and carts are way overpriced, that's why I like the Tecnodec and the Projects, great performance at a sensible price even considering that they've almost doubled in ten years.
  9. Don't listen to this bunch of Rega fanboys. The glass platter record spinners are very mediocre in the best case. I'd go for a Project if you want to spend very few bucks and get a lot of performance. The Rega arms are decent though. Depending on budget a midtier Project like the Debut Carbon series would be pretty decent. Then being an US company, Music Hall have their own series based on Project materials, motors and tonearms, but at very interesting prices. Their MMF 3.3 comes with an Ortofon 2M Red cartridge at $700 https://www.musicdirect.com/turntables/Music-Hall-MMF-33-Turntable Looks like Amazon have them too. Nottingham Analogues are great, sure, but their cheapest is rather expensive. If I were looking for an awesome performer at a price, yet affordable, I'd get a Michell Tecno Deck, it's an incredible turntable https://www.analogueseduction.net/turntables/michell-engineering-tecno-dec.html
  10. Video unavailable This video contains content from Formula One Management, who has blocked it from display on this website or application. Watch on YouTube Damn greedy idiots.
  11. Smells Like Teen Spirit in a major key It's kind of weird, and gets even more when played at 1.25x or 1.5 speed.
  12. Hopefully they just need to close it better. It might need some fiber patch to strengthen the muscular wall. Nothing serious 🤞
  13. Sorry, Jose, better luck next time. Did they mention what has been the problem?
  14. Still Grosjean was lucky his car broke in two pieces right behind his back. Otherwise he might have caught trapped into the cockpit because of the halo, and be burnt alive.
  15. OMG what a race. I'm glad there are no casualties. I won't say more not to spoil the fun of those not watching it live.
  16. Happy Birthday, Bryan!!!
  17. I didn't say it was, but I think competition makes for better products at better prices, at least in theory. OTOH it could be bad for Mac sales if users of Adobe products on OSX decide to go Windows to be able to keep using their apps. It's not that becoming a power user of any Adobe program is easy. Chungo is also sick and looking bad. Very colloquial, almost slang.
  18. They're forcing people to move to Apple's design tools and getting rid of Adobe's.
  19. I had to look for chungus. In Spain's Spanish we have "chungo" which has a completely different meaning.
  20. This time I remembered where we're keeping this thread A very enlightening video on how to use a single mode, in this case locrian, to create very different moods. Funnily enough my yesterday's class was about that.
  21. Have a great day. Happy Birthday!!!
  22. Oh, a geographical variation of greek pastitsio. It sounds healthier and more interesting than the cheeseburger anyway
  23. Is Mac & Cheese a Mac Donald's Cheeseburger?
  24. For some reason I don't find this thread when I look for it in "offtopic" or "music" A short video with good hints and cues to reharmonize tunes. This guy knows his shit but his videos are more entertaining than educative most of the times.
