  1. London Symphony Orchestra, Colin Davis - Handel, Messiah (B&W 24 bits flac)
  2. Amazing pics. I'm glad you had that great time, and a bit envious too
  3. I'm very sorry for your loss Steve, my condolences to you and your family. Jacob, that sucks and your description of the injuries sounds awful. I wish it's not surgery, but I'm afraid it will be. Get well. Best of lucks.
  4. Never tried any noise cancelling phones, but I've received good comments of the Sennheiser PXC250 and they're not expensive: Amazon.com: Sennheiser PXC 250 Active Noise Canceling Headphones: Electronics Maybe worth a try. These aren't circumaural though. The PXC450 look awesome, but are way more expensive: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000R2PC2M/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_2?pf_rd_p=1278548962&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000089GN2&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0H8FYH2867XEXZ2FRVEJ and I haven't received any comments about them
  5. On addition to the professional football players we have many professional pr0n actors (and actresses) who also are very well versed on high quality sound devices for their using Dr Dre Beats. The amateur ones know a bit worse.
  6. hehehe, Spanish (in Spain not Center and South America) pronunciation is more like pres-thin-dee-bleh, though in many areas of the south and Canary Islands they would pronounce it as you said. Completely agree, it's easier spotting flaws on something when you have a high quality reference than when you're left on your own. Very few people have an innate idea on how things should sound. I have yet to try the O2 on a high quality amp. My only decent Stax amp is the 717 and it's now in the UK awaiting some parts to be repaired One of these days I might try a KGSSHV, BH or anything in that range. A matter of patience I guess...
  7. I just changed to my Christmas one.
  8. What a deception, I expected some hardcore pr0n. That must sound amazing with Ultrasones.
  9. LOLz, I happen to use on Chrome the orthographic corrector, so when I use a "too latin" word it complains, then I need to choose a more Saxon option. It complained with prescindible, then I googled to find it's actually an English word with the same meaning Then I decided to leave it hehehehe I haven't listened to the HE-60 or 90, but I suppose they have more virtues than flaws and quite possible none of the flaws is a deal breaker, which IMHO is one of the virtues of Sennheiser.
  10. Cool, thanks
  11. oh sorry, too latin. Expendable me thnk, which is latin too any Saxon equivalent?
  12. RIP Mr Lennon. If there's been a stupid, avoidable death of famous talented people in history, it has been his. Thanks for sharing the story Dinny.
  13. My hero. We were missing you Elephas Sennheiser and Stax rule. Period. The rest but for a couple of Grado models, is easily prescindible
  14. After some Oscar Peterson Trio from the Mosaic set, played Annie Lennox - Christmas Cornucopia Then Mount Kimbie - Crooks and Lovers And now the Tron OST by Deft Punk. Probably the first DP album that is managing to keep me interested.
  15. Listening to this one again. Nice disc.
  16. Happy belated B-Day!
  17. After the whole Bach's cello suites decided to switch to this lighter music
  18. That Bartok seems veeerrrryyy interesting Reks. A pendrive would do? I think it would fit into a 10Gb one Now listening to the second CD of this nice set Then planning to dive into this Pablo Casals orgy
