    RIP, he'll be remembered.
  2. I'd love to drive my M3 onto your speakers
  3. Indeed. RIP.
  4. Happy Birthday!!!!
  5. Had to search for tramp stamp, then found this which probably is NSFW.
  6. This is the authentic honey badger machine
  7. You're so cute Al!
  8. I'm on a Bobby Hutcherson spree this afternoon. I've listened to Components and San Francisco, now listening to Medina:
  9. Nice piano Brent, congrats!!!! I wish you enjoy it a lot with your kids
  10. Happy B-Day!
  11. That's five bad days into a single horrible one. Sympathies mate.
  12. Great. I still have to find some time to do the stores job and deciding what camera suits me best. Once decided and purchased, I'll get back to the thread, maybe showing some pics Thanks again for all the advices pals.
  13. LOLz, hadn't you read it yet? Amazing review
  14. Wow, that's a very generous offer, thank you very much. I suppose shipping cost wouldn't be much more of USD 30, maybe a bit more if insured, but that will leave things too easy for the customs guys. If I finally get the K-5 and you're considering to sell the macro it's a good opportunity for both.
  15. Hopefully you won't need those. Eventually one crutch for a few days to lessen weight charge on that leg. However I'm no traumatologist and it's been a long time since I was an intern there, so my expertise is limited.
  16. Yup, long one. Only femur nails are longer. No worries, I wouldn't expect much more than 10 days "out of order" for you.
  17. It depends on what kind of nail is it and how deeply integrated it is within the bone. But yeah, I'd expect about 10 days resting until they remove the skin sutures and check the bone is stable. I'd be surprised it was much less.
  18. Fortunately removing the nail isn't a huge operation. With a little luck you won't need it. Glad to know it's not a serious pain. Get better.
  19. Congrats Judd and Ken!!!
  20. I wish I could get any rebates. Not even for giving some lessons at the Uni In the Service of the hospital where I made the residency they had their own camera with a good macro lens and ring flash. Everyone could use it when needed, and the hospital payed for the slides film developing. In this hospital they had a medical photographer years ago, but the man retired and they didn't hire a substitute. Anything you want for pics is on your own. They used to provide the Ektachrome film, but didn't pay the developing. Fortunately they provide the endoscopic surgery cameras and digital recording systems, but it took a lot of effort and negotiation getting the last. I'd need to have a different tax status to be able to get rebates from these purchases. My almost none private practice and the rebates won't justify the extra charges and hassle.
  21. Shoots to show lesions inside the mouth, details from surgeries like the relations of a nerve with surrounding tissues... In the most demanding ones as if you wanted a stamp to fill the whole frame.
  22. Happy Birthday!!!!
  23. Those cartoon dolls were very popular in Spain by the time my mother was a child, right after the Spanish Civil War by the early 40's. They had no money for real cloth or ceramic dolls. That's the legionary model. Maybe you remember that Franco, before the coup d'etat, was serving in North Africa. The legion were the troops that fought against Moorish and other African populations. Hence the tasteless and bestial head in her hand
  24. A while ago was Bugge Wesseltoft and Henrik Schwarz - Duo And now Coleman Hawkins - Good Old Broadway
