  1. That seems an interesting USB DAC. Keep us posted Birgir.
  2. Glad to know you're fine and covered Guillaume. Take care.
  3. I understand you very well. I've spent a good part of my life not understanding what they were singing. Most tunes were way more interesting when wrapped in ignorance.
  4. Only if you have system restore enabled, and for the system drive. Let's know how it goes, and also what W version you're using. It's possible you still can force a driver re-install. You'll need an older version of the nvidia drivers though. Depending on the Windows version your GPU could be wasting functionality if you go back to basic drivers.
  5. Listened to the whole thing. More of a melancholic and philosophical work than fun. Jueves is kind of progressive, where you notice the guy is a part of Mars Volta. It seems an album made for or by his girlfriend, who happens to be the singer Not bad at all, though not really my style.
  6. Checking it out at their Bandcamp page. They're supposed to be selling the FLAC version too, but Bandcamp is well known for delivering lossy files for lossless ones. Lunes isn't a fun tune so far.
  7. IMHO it could be the new drivers which it's possible you haven't completely removed. On W98 and XP I know how to force a driver install, but not sure it works on newer OS. Can you use a restoration point?
  8. It's more like "the science about the useless" though it might be interpreted as "the science by the useless". Pretty fun anyway.
  9. Not sure if you've already watched it. I did live almost 10 hours ago. So I'll refrain any comments.
  10. ^ The title is hilarious.
  11. WRONG!! The quality of your input has nothing to do with the money you've spent or the gear you've tried. It's more related to how you elaborate your thoughts (if any) and how they develop from your experience, wide or limited. Oh well, then there're those other things here... how do you call them... yeah, friendship and comradeship. You need to be here for a while to get it
  12. Not that bad, jugs with a holder help to keep beverage cold for not having to use your warm hand on it
  13. Which someone calling names to established members of this site won't have
  14. ^ Knew of it before. Very sad
  15. Really sad. Not even a sick mind explains this. My condolences.
  16. Well, if you ever read your welcome message, you were warned that we like some newbie mocking. This is not the usual "please advise me about this" forum. I for one never listened to the K400, so I cannot give you any advice worth a dime. However for my experience with other AKGs, I suppose something sounding in the same vein should be other AKGs, perhaps 501 or 601.
  17. Jackie McLean - Bluesnik Bluesy session with Freddie Hubbard, Kenny Drew, Pete La Roca and Doug Watkins. Nice awakening on one of those summer Saturday mornings in which I cannot hit the street
  18. You're not replacing the K400 with those Audio Technica. Really.
  19. Kinda expected it The better the whiskey, the tastier the cocktail I guess, however isn't that like drinking champagne on the rocks? Never tried a Sazerac though. Maybe it makes the rye moar better.
  20. Indeed, it's been my first experience with straight rye whiskey and I'm pleasantly impressed. I guess people don't use this same one to prepare the Sazerac cocktail, do they?
  21. I just finished half a HC cairn glass of this
  22. Poor Contador, he's a good guy, really. You just hate him for not kneeing in front of Armstrong
  23. What's a K400, a BMW motorcycle?
  24. I like the piano version better than the orchestral one of that work, though both are nice. This is a whole morning task (I'm off after an on-call shift) Wagner, Kleiber, Staatskapelle Dresden - Tristan und Isolde
