  1. LOLz, looks like a CT scan or MRI device. Never saw one with the cover removed.
  2. ¡Coño! Feliz cumpleaños Miguel, que se repita muchas veces más

    RIP Doc Watson

    RIP
  4. Thanks for sharing, looks interesting. I have no time to check them all, but I'll try to watch the DSOTM one soon.
  5. According to the description it was recorded live, but I might be wrong, haven't received it yet, nor listened to the leak.
  6. OMG how did those tiny bastards get in there?
  7. ^ This one It leaked already.
  8. My condolences A-man, best wishes for you and your family.
  9. ¡¡¡Feliz Cumpleaños y un fuerte abrazo!!! Have a great one
  10. Those AC-1 seem more manageable, still too big for these small-yet-expensive Spanish flats. If they moved you that much they must be worth the trip to listen, plus free Scotch never damaged anyone
  11. The "GS-X equivalent" I'm speaking of isn't DIY, it's a Headamp's Gilmore Reference, which is the same balanced circuit of the GS-X but with some differences in components and such. Justin may say way better. If you're referring to the B22, then yes, however it's a well known circuit which a lot of people builds on kit boards using the same sourced parts. If made right, should sound very much the same I guess. However my experience is very limited, I've only listened to mine and a friend's one, made by a professional builder. I think they sound quite similar, being the differences more attributable to the source used than anything else. Both, the B22 and the GS are quite good showing upstream components differences, and can drive about anything.
  12. Happy Birthday
  13. Happy Birthday!!!
  14. Sorry for the wrong judge decision . The speakers look OK, I wonder how they sound, never listened to polygonal horns.
  15. Not either here. In fact I think it's a tad bit brighter than the GS-X equivalent I have.
  16. Happy Birthday!!!
  17. If the clock-anticlock is seen from the front side, it's Azimuth, but in my modest experience this doesn't have much effect on tonal balance, it's more on channel balance, as the bias (antiskating) setting. Anyway, glad you got it fixed
  18. That must be exerting some vigorous force on it. Not sure I'd try that on my arm. Fortunately it's not needed
  19. Azimuth, as in lateral needle tilt, can't be changed on the AceSpace unless you use rings, spacers or similar tricks. My guess is that he changed VTA.
  20. ^ Listened to it this afternoon. An interesting style shift. Looking forward for the album release, I backed the new project too
  21. RIP Donna, thanks for the great adolescence times supplied.
  22. Have you checked VTA? Seems one of the few things which may change. If the screws holding the arm's height are a bit loose, VTA might have changed. The other dreadful chance is that the cleaning lady has "worked" on the cart. BTW, the record you listened was one you know well and you're sure wasn't sibilant before? Maybe listening to other LPs you don't find it that sibilant.
