This. Besides Joe Grado's designs and the PS-1, the HF-2 is my favorite Grado, though I haven't listened to the PS-500.

What distilleries/bottling would be the goto ones to sample the character of every Scotch region? I guess for Islay the one to sample (my own preference) would be Lagavulin 16, but I don't know for the other regions which ones summarize the distinctive features of each area, if that thing even exists.

I'm using Spotify, the collection is pretty good and Premium is rather affordable. Their premium bitrate is equivalent to 320, but using some ogg derivative using lower bandwidth. I don't know if it works well with the SB Touch, but you can use it from the web browser, it has apps for mobile devices, and it's possible downloading the files (even at the highest bitrate) to keep them in your device to play when there's no connection. I'm pretty happy with it.

This looks like SS. The selectable power output plus selectable impedance looks a very interesting couple of features to get any headphone sounding good. I don't care for the crossfeed, and not that much for the DAC, but this can be good to have on a single all-in-one "small" system.

I've read about the MHA100 amplifier, there's a report about it at Innerfidelity and a video by Tyll. It looks very impressive, an all in one which may fit a lot of requirements. With a speaker output it may even be usable to drive Stax amp with an energizer like the SRD-7 pro. I wish they post some listening impressions. I like how it looks. There's that thing about McIntosh stuff
